which you cover a specific chinchompa's spawn with traps, significantly increasing GP and XP rates. from wilkinson's blog

The boss's name:

Vorkath is among the most easy and lucrative bosses that can be played solo in OSRS which can be killed in melee or ranged mode. After release of Dragon Hunter Lance in 2019 January, it became easier and OSRS gold  quicker to take down in melee mode, because you get that juicy 20% boost in accuracy and damage when fighting dragons. Another perk of killing Vorkath by melee is stored supplies, as killing it in melee-style kills will provide you with an increased defense bonus and you do not need ammo. Therefore, we will mainly focus on taking out Vorkath by using melee in this guide.

Profits:

The average profit from a single kill can range from 140k to 160k OSRS gold. Once you become very skilled in Vorkath it is possible to get 30+ kills per hour . That's 4.5M of gold per hour. This also depends on your equipment that will be discussed later. There is no typical drop like dragon hides, coins and various alchables , etc. You can have one of the special drops that could boost your travels significantly. It is possible to view exclusive drops at current prices (2019 May) below:

Draconic visage – 6M

Skeletal visage - 36M

Dragonbone necklace - 100.4k

Vorki - a dope looking pet.

More important information:

As with Alchemical Hydra (or Zulrah, Vorkath will always offer 2 drops, which will remain on the ground for the duration of 30mins (unless you exit the scene, which can cause the loss of your objects that were dropped!). If you die, you'll be able to get all of your items from the boatman with a 100k fee. But after some practice it shouldn't be a problem as Vorkath is a simple one-on-one boss that could be killed while you're watching YouTube or doing some other things in the background.

Its salve (ei) attack bonus does stack with dragon hunter lance's bonuses, because Vorkath is considered to be an undead monster. If you're in blue dragons's slayer's task You could also take your slayer helmet and switch your salve (ei) amulet to torturing, or for a fury amulet for faster kills.

Requirements and suggestions:

You must successfully completed Dragon Slayer 2 which has such requirements as 200 quest points Legends Quest, Dream Mentor, Edgar's Ruse etc. You'll also require skills requirements like 60 Agility, 70 Smithing etc. But these skills are worth the effort and will bring you rewards!

As it is a dragon creature, you will need a strategy against dragonfire breath . This can be an anti-dragon shield, dragon fireshield or a super-antifire potion that frees your hands to protect yourself which will also give you an attack bonuses. Runes are also required for "crumble undead" spell which will consume 2 air two earths and one chaos rune. But you can use Dust runes to free 1 slot in your inventory/rune pouch.

I highly recommend having Fremennik elite diaries complete since this will give the fastest way to teleport to Vorkath. This teleportation method is compatible with the Ornate rejuvenation pool that is located in your home owned by you, which will restore your HP Prayer, Special attack, and bar. This pool requires at least 82 construction which is quite high but the availability of these options will boost the amount of kills you get per hour which is why it's well worth the effort! If you're considering training construction, refer to our other guide at the link below:

https://www.rsorder.com/news

If you don't have rejuvenation pool or shoes from fremennik elite, I would suggest changing some of your supplies to super restores and saradomin beverages to make longer trips.

Combat Requirements:

There aren't any exact combat requirements to kill Vorkath But having these combat skills can make your trips more efficient:

There are 3 methods to reach your destination.

To begin, you'll need to have your home settled in Rellekka following which, simply use your teleportation method to player owned house, exit the portal and go to the boatman (all options are provided below). S. I highly recommend having POH in Rellekka, even if you're not planning to use the first method.

Lunar Isle method will only work for people who haven't completed Fremennik Elite diaries. Take teleportation method in Lunar Isle without Seal of passage. Speak to any NPC on the island and they'll get you kicked out of the Isle and take you to the location below on the map.

For Fremennik boots, just click teleportation option on your Fremennik boots, and take a few steps to become a boatman.

Vorkath Mechanics:

Before entering Vorkath's instance make sure you have made your quick prayers according to the example displayed below:

To avoid a Fire bomb attack, you must be 2 spaces away in any direction. Failing to move will instantly kill you, simply moving a square will result in up to 70+ injuries. The attack is quite slow and should not be an issue to dodge it. It is shown below: Now let's take an look to Vorkath's basic and special attacks. For basic attacks he will use Melee Ranged, Dragonfire and Fire Bomb, Magic, Venom, and prayer-disabling attack. This may seem like too much, but your defense bonus, Serpentine Helm, Super anti-fire potion, and prayer protection will ignore most in his assaults. In reality you should only care about 2 of his fundamental attacks.

If you are suffering from a Prayer-disabling condition, just press the icon for quick prayers and it will turn your prayer back to normal. It's that easy. A sample of this attack is given below:

1st Special attack - Zombified Spawn: Vorkath can cast an ice breath, which stops the player from moving. You must quickly press anywhere along the path to stop attacking Vorkath and prepare the Crumble Undead spell prepared. After the Ice breath attack, which is in the following table: After every 6 fundamental attacks Vorkath will be able to use one of two special attacks:

Vorkath will unleash in a zombie minion. It is moving toward you, threatening to kill you. Use Your Crumble Undead spell on him as soon as you can, but failing to kill it on time could result in 60+ injuries:

2nd Special attack: Attack with fireballs and acid spills:

This attack Vorkath spills acid over the entire instance and rapidly spit fireballs which will follow your movements. Change your running off to running and begin moving around the area to avoid acid spills which deal 10 damage and heal Vorkath for the same amount.

Moving around the scene is crucial. It's better to be on the acid spill rather than stop movingas every fireball attack can cause as much as 30+ damages and Vorkath blasts these enemies every time!

The fight:

Before entering instance it is important to have your quick prayers ready as described in this video tutorial. Next, sip a glass of Extended super antifire and sip of Super combat potions, then enter.

In this case, Vorkath won't attack you until you poke at him. Get rid of one inventory space with the drop of an animal, such as a shark, etc. You will be able to pick it up after the battle. You must now get your Bandos godsword prepared with its unique strike and poke Vorkath to start the fight:

If Bandos godsword spec. attack will fail to hit Vorkath I highly suggest teleporting back to your house take a drink from the Ornate Rejuvenation pool and start all over from scratch. Vorkath has high defence bonus and a successful special attack in the initial fight will help make your journey more swift, meaning you have less time for mistakes :)

After successful BGS special attack, Vorkath attacks you with 6 basic attacks before making use of one of his unique abilities that will be random. I highly recommend toggling your run-off after the 5th basic attack . Get yourself focused in case he will use his acid spill attack:

Following the special attack, the character will follow with six basic attacks. Then he will use different special abilities. For example, if the initial special attack was Acid spill, the second special attack will come as Zombified In the next phase, further 6 basic attacks will be followed, which will result in another Acid spill attack, and so on.

After the kill, pick up the loot , then go back to your home if you have Ornate rejuvenation pool there. If not, you can just poke him again and begin again.

If you lost your life during the battle, visit the boatman and collect your possessions for a 100k. You don't need to have 100k in your possession, it will be taken straight from your bank.

Pro tip:

Once you're comfortable in Vorkath's technique then you could consider learning the technique known as "Woox walking" which is used in acid spills as a special attack. In essence, you'll need to engage Vorkath and avoid his swift fireball attacks by moving back and forth. To achieve this, you will need to find an acid-free spot after which you press attack and Vorkath and quickly move back to avoid stopping at the spot. This method takes a lot of practice and will mean you lose 100k each failure to master it. However, if you master this technique you'll be able reach maximum gains per hour.=========================================================

OldSchool Runescape (OSRS) LVL 1-99 Hunter Guide

Unpopular with many of the people who train, Hunter is often neglected and untrained beyond the first levels. It's quite click-intensive and isn't profitable until later levels, however there are huge advantages to mastering this skill. It is possible to train it as an ally level 3 or as at level 126. It's equally useful for Ironmen as it is for normal accounts and it is actually an extremely quick skill to develop, especially by incorporating birdhouses. At the beginning, you'll need some gold . And what should you do should you not have any? Sure, you can simply order it from Rsorder! We offer the best prices all the time with 24/7 support for customers!

What are the reasons to improve your Hunter proficiency within Oldschool Runescape?

From a pure efficiency point of view from a pure efficiency standpoint, buying 99 Hunter is an excellent choice because of the sheer amount of GP that it gives you. It is impossible to beat the amount of time the 99 Hunter program offers. Before the introduction of birdhouses Hunter was heavily neglected by most players due the click intensive methods that were required. If, however, you're practicing regularly and pay focus on your birdhouse timers you can skip the levels and start your training in a way that is profitable.

Quest Requirements

Level 10 - Cold War

Level 12 Arceuus ascent

Level 27 Eagles" Peak (required to use traps in boxes)

Level 60 Monkey Madness II

Quests with Hunter Rewards and Hunter XP

Similar to the quests which require Hunter levels to be completed, there are not many quests which reward you Hunter Experiments, but you can finish the Natural History Quiz in the Varrock Museum for 1.000 Hunter (and Slayer) levels of XP. 1 which will allow you to attain the level 9 status instantly. I strongly recommend to do this instead of practicing with conventional methods at this level. These are all quests which give Hunter the XP.

Training Hunter

After you've passed The Natural History Quiz, you are ready to start training Hunter. Like other gathering skills, there is definitely a right and wrong method to master Hunter until you've reached the higher levels, there is nothing that will make you money (other than birdhouses) and you should take whatever method will give you the most XP per hour. Concerning birdhouses all of these methods I will list can be used in lieu of birdhouse runs if one prefers to learn Hunter by doing other things. This may be less efficient in terms of hours played but it is perfectly appropriate to do.

Birdhouse runs

They require an amount of 100 Varrock Museum Kudos, The Dig Site and Bone Voyage, birdhouses are an extremely popular training method for Hunter that can be used from the age of five. With requirements rising up to 89 in the case of redwood birdhouses. They function similar to agriculture patches to Hunter in that they can be ready to collect each 50 minute or so. You are also at risk of receiving birds nest from the houses, making them very essential for Ironmen. It is recommended to unlock these as soon as possible and do often as they boost your Hunter's XP per minute dramatically. When you reach level 5. a full birdhouse run can earn you 1120 XP which will allow you to climb to level 12. The XP you earn from birdhouses enables you to skip slow-paced training methods completely. It is up to you whether you'd like to train Hunter in a direct manner or not, however you must try not to overlook birdhouses.

Level 9 to 15: Feldip Weasels

It is necessary to capture 30 feldip weasels before you can go between levels 9 and Hunter. You'll search for plants in the jungle to discover trails and the weasel is found after having successfully hunted 3 jungle plants. You'll require a noose tool to catch feldip weasels available at anyone in the Hunter shop or the Grand Exchange. In order to catch 30 feldip weasels, it should take 20 minutes.

Level 15 - 29: Ruby Butterflies and Copper Longtails

This is where the process of training Hunter can speed up. Bring butterflies, a net for butterflies, five butterfly jars , and 2 bird snares. You will be catching ruby butterflies and copper longtails, make sure you focus on making sure your bird snares are up over catching butterflies , as they provide a lot more XP. If you are able to buy stamina potions, they will aid you tremendously. Even though copper-colored longtails give less XP per catch than cerulean flicks, it's much faster to capture these birds because of the added XP gained from by catching butterflies at the same time. Depending on how focused you are and if you brought stamina potion along with you, this process will take about 30 minutes.

Level 29 - 43: Green Swamp Lizards

From levels 29-43. you'll catch Green swamp lizards in Morytania swamp. Like last time, you'll see a jump in XP rate using this method. Bring 5 ropes along with small fishing nets and set up traps in the trees near the Hunter icons. You then have to wait for the lizards caught. Make sure to let the lizards go as quickly they are caught as they can increase your weight by significantly. Bringing stamina potions and alchs/fletching supplies is recommended but not essential. There is a need to capture 253 green swamp lizards in order to climb from level 29 up to 43 Hunter. This is not more than one hour. Rates of XP increase significantly when you reach level 40 because of the traps available.

Level 43 -59: Spotted Dark and Kebbits

A method that I was previously apprehensive about because of how fast my inventory would grow because of the rapid capture, the ability to shift-drop bone and fur, makes this an extremely quick way to train your Hunter! From level 43 until 57 Hunter you'll be using falconry to the south of Piscatoris Fishing Colony, hunting for spotted kebbits. You'll need 500 cents to fund Matthias to enjoy the hunt for these tiny kebbits. Armour with a lower weight is recommended due to the amount of running. If you're using RuneLite and can tag a specific spawn to determine when it is likely to respawn, that is the best method of training. It is necessary to capture 1.471 the spotted kebbits, to go between 43 and the 57 Hunter. It is recommended to go on birdhouse runs at all times.

At level 57 you are capable of catching dark kebbits and once able you should be focusing on these because they provide more XP than their spotted cousins. When you go from level 57 until 59 Hunter you only need to capture 339 dark Kebbits and it will take around an hour.

Level 59- 67: Red Salamanders

Catched using the same method as the green swamp lizards earlier, from level from 59 to 67 Hunter, you will be catching red salamanders to the north of Castle Wars and south of Ardougne. It's tempting to get red chinchompas before you start making some money out of all the effort, however I'd suggest you wait. You'll need to catch 1.104 red salamanders to go between 59 and 70 Hunter. This could take five hours if the player doesn't stop to make birdhouse runs. It is recommended to do your birdhouses during the course to accelerate the process. Be sure to remember alchs and weights decreasing armour.

Level Between 67 and 73: Black Salamanders

When in the Wilderness you are able to place an extra trap, making black salamanders extremely fast XP, placing 5 traps is equivalent to XP rates of approximately 110.000 every hour. Don't be worried about being in the Wilderness, players do not frequently visit and you're risking nothing. It is necessary to capture 1.393 salamanders in order to get to Level 73 Hunter. This will allow you to capture black chinchompas.

Level 73 to 99: Black Chinchompas

It's time to finally start making money from training Hunter. It's serious money. If you're lucky enough not to be killed once training from 73 to 99 Hunter (which is absolutely unrealistic) The 38.228 black chinchompas can yield 116.595.400 GP.

Obviously you will not be capable of sitting at your black chinchompas hunting non stop until you've landed nearly 40.000 in them however if you're shrewd and quick to log-out, you're unlikely to lose a lot. It's worth putting in the effort to train Hunter before combat on a new account to avoid most of the players you'll meet, since it's only Level 33 Wilderness. Its proximity to 30 Wilderness means that you should take an amulet or a grand seed pod in order to rapidly teleport away. Some recommend get to level 80 before taking up black chinchompas as you can access 6 total traps when you reach this level but this is not necessary since the XP rate you'll receive at the time you start 3Ticking before 80 is the same as black salamanders. It is imperative to hunt black chinchompas at off-peak hours to reduce the number of predators.

For chinchompas hunting, using RuneLite to tag the monster is a major benefit, as it allows you to identify it from other creatures which makes it easier to trap spawn. This is a technique in which you cover a specific chinchompa's spawn with traps, significantly increasing GP and XP rates.

Based on your stats in combat and money available for equipment, your inventory and worn items will look very different. If you're very low-level, it doesn't matter as long as you're in your combat class, you're more likely to be killed without overheads (HIGHLY recommended if you're below 20 combat to get protect prayers, which make you virtually impossible to be killed). Wearing the best possible defense against mage will be beneficial as higher levels use Ice barrages and teleport block spells on your behalf to stop your escape. If you're in possession of the Dinh's Bulwark and you're in the at or near the 90s in your combat stats, you're almost unkillable along with Serpentine Visage that will keep venom out. Magic shortbows are also employed to kill Chincompa if they flee from your traps.

Level 63+: Red Chinchompas

If you're fed up at the quantity of player killers who have a plethora of black chinchompasin the dark, their red counterparts can be an alternative that is acceptable. They earn less GP and XP while providing a constant source of income as well as experience. It is possible to hunt at level 63. It is strongly recommended to wait until you're level 80 Hunter and are able to access the hunting grounds that are private after complete the hard Western Provinces journal. The rate of success varies based on levels and concentration due to 3-ticking. However, it's possible to get up to 180.000 per hour for higher levels, that is, a GP rate of over 800.000 per hour. If you wanted to train from level 63 Hunter up to level 73. you would need to be able to catch 2.356 red chinchompas. This would take about 6 hours, earning you more than 3.500.000 GP at current prices, and if you were to catch red chinchompas during 63 to 99 Hunter you would earn 68.826.240.

Summary

My opinion is that it's worth the risk to hunt in black chinchompas, not red because the XP and GP rates are high enough to Buy OSRS gold  cancel out whatever you lose by the end of your life. In addition to the topic of birdhouses: it's essential to unlock these earlier than you can in your account, as they remove the boring and slow stages of Hunter while you're learning other skills or doing quests.
