The fact that Sylvanas then betrayed the Jailer in patch 9.1 according to what appeared to be an unintentional decision has caused a few fans narrative whiplash. Why, all of sudden the character who committed genocide, and has shown no guilt, now having a change in heart? There's no way to tell if fans can get a clear answer to that question. However, the chief quest designer Maria Hamilton said that the story of Sylvanas, and the overarching storyline of Shadowlands is being designed at cheap WoTLK Gold a high-level. The smaller details are being fleshed out more as time goes on.
