Meet Becky, a primary school teacher, and Mark, a wine merchant, who married around the 26th of May 2018 at St Peter's Church, Humshaugh, Northumberland, then a reception in Becky's parents' gorgeous garden.

"It was always my dream to obtain married there and also the day after we got engaged my father had already been around the phone to the neighbor to ascertain if we could use their field over the road for that marquee."

"My parents’ garden happens to be beautiful and it has an original walled section but my parents visited so much effort to make it even better. My dad was concerned that even just at the end of May there wouldn't be sufficient flowering so he built a polytunnel to bring around the flowers early."

On her feet Becky wore shoes, while for scent she opted for any perfume, that was a Christmas gift from Mark's parents. For jewelry, she opted for any pair of earrings that had been a present from her very own parents on her behalf sixteenth birthday.

Becky walked down the aisle on her behalf dad's arm, preceded by her four bridesmaids. Becky and Mark chose two readings- Corinthians 13, read by Becky's sister, then 'That Still and Settled Place' by Edward Monkton, read by Mark's eldest sister.

Mark waited at the end of the aisle inside a blue three-piece suit, with a complimentary pink tie from the same supplier.

"One of our highlights from the day was being in a position to drive Mark's Dad's car back in the service. It meant we'd a bit of break just a couple of us and Lucie was in a position to capture that perfectly." Go

On returning to the ceremony, Becky, Mark as well as their guests enjoyed canapes, drinks, and photos within the garden, before moving towards the marquee for that wedding breakfast.

"I hunted for months for green bridesmaid dresses also it was becoming probably the most stressful part of the wedding. I should have ordered and returned about twenty dresses when I saw a billboard on Facebook and decided to provide it a go. My bridesmaids liked them straight away plus they all looked stunning."

Captured the glorious sunshine and much more glorious happy smiles in her own bright and lightweight style and Becky and Mark also opted for any pre-wedding shoot to enhance their confidence in front of the camera- a very excellent idea in case your photographer offers it.

"Lucie was great. She blended along with all of the other guests and she or he wasn't whatsoever intrusive and she or he got plenty of natural, relaxed shots of our guests which is exactly what we should want. We are generally a bit camera shy and posing didn't come naturally so being in a position to meet Lucie before our special day meant that I was far more relaxed and that we ended up enjoying getting the photos taken."

"My dad grew flowers in pots for within the marquee but additionally made a huge wall of flowers to visit outside the marquee to line the entire length of the tent. They helped make your day for me. I am proud of him and all sorts of his effort and I am pleased it all paid off plus they all flowered."

Evening entertainment came in the form of a band while usher Ross sang the very first dance song, 'Every time we touch' by Cascada.

"Mark was inside a band with Ross for a long time during school and after university and Ross sang my favorite song they accustomed to playing. I was accustomed to requesting it at their gigs and we joked he would sing it at our wedding. I didn't think it might happen!"

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Dreaming big doesn't need to mean spending plenty of money and don't underestimate the talents of your friends and family! We did a lot of bits ourselves or we drafted our amazing friends and family to assist. I made all in our signs, table plans, place names, etc manually and Mark and the family made all of the larger creations."

Kate, another school performing arts teacher, and Ben, a lecturer in engineering at Newcastle University celebrated their marriage on 17 August 2018, in Durham.

Kate and Ben chose a photographer to capture their day. The summer enchantment from the venue’s beautiful gardens shines through during these beautiful images.

"He is incredible. He was this type of huge support and comfort all day long, particularly within the stress from the morning! Carn captured such beautiful pictures and everyone at the wedding commented on how lovely and friendly he was. He couldn't have done a better job during my eyes."

From the boutique, Kate chose an exquisitely minimalist gown by, having a simple bateau neckline leading round to some dramatic draping low cowl back and puddle train.

"I always knew I wanted a plain, simple dress so when I tried that one on, the crepe material fell so beautifully I knew it had been the one. I loved the reduced back from the dress."

I adore the vibrant palette of orange in Kate's bouquet, contrasting using the softer apricot tones from the roses and pale, blushing pink dahlias.

"I had my yellow bridesmaid dresses handmade by FeelTimes. I was very lucky – the customer service staff was absolutely lovely, I felt like we became friends."

Kate walked on the aisle to satisfy Ben, combined with her much-loved dad to Arms That Hold You Still by Skylark Song.

"My dad is just one of my favorite people in the whole world. One of the pictures of me and my Dad from that moment helped me cry when I first viewed it."

Ben decided on a light stone-colored suit, pairing having a crisp white shirt and brown brogues, also from Reiss.

"He needed to try a lot of to find the correct one, I think he tried more suits than I did dresses!"

"A couple of months later, Ben asked if I desired to meet for any coffee after work. It was an attractive sunny day and we ended up walking up to the High-Level Bridge in Newcastle. Ben took the lock from his pocket and asked if I desired to make it forever. We threw the keys within the Tyne after which he inquired about marrying him." Here

The civil ceremony was overseen by Katherine and Jacqueline in the Registration team, and Ben's uncle Kevin read a poem, which had been specially compiled by his cousin Kitty.

"They were so competent and made a really warm and friendly atmosphere through the ceremony. They made it feel really special."

Kate and Ben first met over four years ago in Newcastle and lived together for 2 years before Ben proposed.

"We wrote our very own vows. That was our favorite part of the ceremony as it had been completely personal to us. We also decided to have the lovely hand ceremony but we did get the giggles once we didn't fully realize what we were doing and messed up a bit!"

A local band played live throughout the ceremony, a married duo who take part with the violin and electric guitar.

"They are truly beautiful also it created this type of serene and relaxed feeling."

Following the ceremony, there have been drinks and canapes within the garden underneath the shade of the lovely apple tree bowing with ripening fruit.

"We were lucky because from the fact the gardens at Crook Hall happen to be so beautifully wild, colorful, and natural that people didn’t be concerned much about adding too many of our very own decorations. We just knew that people wanted a relaxed vibe. We both love eating and cooking therefore the food was our main priority…"

Kate and Ben made all from the wedding stationery themselves using paper with brightly colored spots they handmade. They also incorporated it right into a table plan utilizing a bike wheel! Friend Marc Bennet painted a sweet order from the day for the pair, that was also displayed within the garden.

"We chose our venue because we simply fell in love using the place the moment we first viewed it. The gardens are beautiful and also the medieval manor house built circa 1217 is one of the oldest inhabited houses in Durham City. It is so convenient and near to town yet it feels like millions of miles in the city. The place just has a calming feel to it and that we felt enjoy it suited just how we wanted your day to be."

Everyone made their way indoors for that wedding meal, and such a remarkable setting with gorgeous, historic stone walls. Little wonder Kate and Ben felt that no further decoration was needed beyond fairy lights and candles.

"My favorite thing was searching and seeing our friends and family in one location and feeling very lucky to have a lot of amazing people within our lives. I loved the speeches (My Dad, Ben, and my mate Vicky) I loved dancing with Ben and seeing how happy he was all day long. I loved everything – I wish we were able to just do everything again."

"Later we'd a band called. Great fun, energetic, and also got everyone dancing. So much fun! …The band played us an initial song that was an upbeat folky style song. It was fun after which everyone came and joined us soon! We didn't practice whatsoever so we were finding it very funny."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Stick for your guns by what you want. I remember when I was fitting dresses and everyone had an opinion about what it should be but I knew deep down I wanted something easy and classic and I'm so glad I chose the main one I did."

Please meet Amber, the bridal shop manager, and James, a designer, and decorator, who married on 20 June 2018 in the blank canvas venue, Ayrshire in Scotland.

A desire for any bold and bright day along with a wish to produce a Parisian floral fiesta to reflect their visits together to France led the pair to fill the farm and barn with wild summer flowers as well as an eclectic mixture of jugs and tins for any cozy, homely feel.

Amber was in the perfect situation to determine many, many gowns and she knew her dream dress was the one for her. It is so incredibly special using the delicate yet vivid pink embroidery within the ethereally light tulle. The gown is completely perfect for a summertime wedding.

The boldness of the gown was offset through the vintage soft tulle, and complete veil and Amber visited their high-street favorite on her deep pink bridal shoes.

Amber's grown-up bridesmaids wore short sage bridesmaid dresses for any fresh, summery vibe. Their bespoke hair combs were designed to enhance Amber's plus they carried vibrant, joyful bouquets.

"My mum and her closest friend Lucy very kindly agreed to do our flowers. I found the website which searches for all of the local wildflower growers in your town. Many growers provide you with buckets of flowers for any set price therefore we ordered ten buckets and gave the farmer a tough idea from the colors we wanted. The flowers were absolutely beautiful, we wanted these phones to look as if they'd just been plucked in the ground and also to not be too stylized – these were perfect."

"For the ceremony within the garden, my mum and I designed a floral arch with silk flowers and ivy to frame James and me once we got married. We added some Persian rugs towards the aisle to make it look a little cozier coupled with sunflowers and ribbons hanging in the ends from the rows to include a pop of color." Here

James decided on a traditional Scottish kilt having a modern twist through its bright tartan of Ancient Buchanan. Worn having a jacket and waistcoat, he looks contemporary and confident. The final touches were a deep green tie and a pretty buttonhole.

"We wanted all of the groomsmen to possess different colored tartans – I love the look of all of the colors! We stuck to tones of green and blue so there is some link between them."

After the ceremony, Amber shared information about how she and her talented family and friends created this bright look using flowers, ribbons, and trinkets. My favorite detail has to become the ribbon and flowers bunting which fluttered within the breeze.

"We wanted the primary barn to become filled with color so I made meters of dangling fake flowers with ribbons and threaded colorful petals onto string to hang too. My mum designed a big chandelier of ivy and fake flowers which sat on the top table."

The evening's dance acquired pace having a ceilidh dance to after the pair took towards the floor for Nick Cave's 'Into My Arms.

"We debated our first dance for a while and worried that 'Into My Arms' was not fast enough but eventually I thought, 'Who cares what your guests think? This is our first dance and our song', therefore it had to become that!"

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Don't get hung up on small things. If something doesn't go quite to plan either before or at the time of the marriage, don't stress. The people who are around you will make things right. It's one big party and also you need to possess a blast!"

Jayne, an architect, and Kris, an architectural technician, escaped to Quimper, France for or her wedding on 7 April 2018. The magnificent Cathédrale Saint-Corentin, Quimper, France was the venue for his or her Catholic ceremony, having a wedding breakfast and party within the grounds from the historic, Plomelin, Brittany.

I adore the bridesmaids' exquisitely-tailored gowns. They look so different using their high neck and cut-out detailing. The girls wore all of them with navy suede block heels from and pearl drop earrings.

"I wanted navy bridesmaid dresses as I love monochrome and wanted the easy contrast using the white. We created a palette together which had become the white, black, grey, navy, and blush pink."

"I was looking for a vintage but modern style along with a big skirt to compliment the scale from the cathedral. I like wearing clothes which are simple and tailored."

"The two-piece was perfect having a simple white crepe body, long sleeves with buttons in the wrists, and back having a boat neck. The skirt is a champagne satin having a single bow tie towards the front. The train is made from the same fabric and it is cathedral length I love the color contrast between your top and skirt."

The couple met through their work and became engaged on vacation in Kris's native New Zealand.

"We both worked within the same building and met one another commuting around the train because the office is at Thames Ditton but both of us lived in west London. We share common interests for example rugby, architecture, and travel. I'm half Kiwi in order soon as I heard his accent we hit them back."

"As I was colleagues we took our time getting to know one another, meeting up secretly, therefore, we could have some privacy with no office gossip knowing! We had been together for years whenever we discussed using the next step into marriage. It would be a joint decision." Here

A white chiffon veil, also by, echoed the shape from the gown's train perfectly for any clean, dramatic finish; just take a look at how it flows behind her as she walks. Edgy black block sandals from added another modern touch. The bride wore family jewelry because of its sentimental value, and statement pearl drop earrings.

The couple had officially married in London in March, as well as their local priest worked closely together with his French counterpart to make the pair's day perfect.

"Our official 'marriage' is at Camberwell per month before. Father Corentin was our priest in France because he was local and did the ceremony in English. Our priest Father Gerry from St Thomas' in Dulwich prepared everything necessary for the Catholic church and coordinated this using the cathedral in Quimper."

I love the pair's method of making sure all their guests could relax and revel in the day – hiring childminders and making sure there have been plenty of activities on their behalf.

"We were built with a couple of childminders for your day to keep the children entertained. The kids were welcome because they had traveled a long way using their parents but we wanted both mom and dad, kids and guests, without kids to unwind."

The wedding breakfast was supplied, and also the fabulous stacked wedding gateaux decorated with sparklers were by.

After the wedding cake was cut and the pair had spent some moments enjoying the river-side sunset, the dancing began! Their first dance ended up being to Finley Quay's 'Love Get's Sweeter every day'.

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Don't sweat the little stuff as things go wrong around the day so let your entourage cushion you and also support you because it really may be the best day of your lifetime."

The couple is Jen, an export sales executive, and Rob, an industry analyst who married on 28 July 2018 at Castlemorton, Worcestershire having a marquee reception in the bride's home. For Jen, the marriage, where she was raised, was of prime importance also it gave the pair free rein using their planning and styling. Cue a relaxed day whose style and feel evolved organically, with lots of fresh flowers and allusions towards the ducks and parrots which go to the millpond nearby.

His style is natural and modern, having a wonderful timeless quality and aptitude for catching light most perfectly. If you like his work then please don't hesitate to.

"He was able to grab us just the right moment for photos following a meal and also the results are beyond anything I could have imagined. I would recommend him to anyone. As we'd a many guests Richard suggested as our second photographer. He was amazing and handled the chaos from the guys preparing brilliantly and it is just an exciting round of great egg!"

Rob and Jen met at uni and were engaged 5 years later, overlooking the magical Croatian town of Dubrovnik.

"We met on the night out for any mutual friend's birthday whilst I was during my final year at uni. I remember clocking Rob in the pre-drinks and thinking he was quite cute but I didn't talk to him until later on in the night when I was out. We got talking and he offered to buy me a drink but at this point, within the night all I wanted was plain tap water."

"Five years later Rob proposed whilst I was on holiday in Croatia. On our last full day, we took each day trip to Dubrovnik but our tour guide was very enthusiastic and keen to exhibit us as numerous sights as you possibly can meaning we didn't possess a lot of time to understand more about it on our very own."

"I was busy getting a spot that wasn't too crowded to obtain some decent photos and turned around to locate Rob recorded on one knee asking me to marry him that was a total shock. I like to think I'm quite perceptive but I'm less I didn't possess a clue about anything happening. He had consulted my best friend for that choice of ring and spoken to my father beforehand. We were engaged just for under 2 yrs which gave us sufficient time to save and meant we'd first pick from the suppliers we wanted." Go

A blue shade was chosen for Jen's grown-up bridesmaids, who found their navy blue bridesmaid dresses at different stores.

"I wanted girls to pick something they believed comfortable and happy in so just gave them the color and they each chose their very own dresses from, and. The dresses all looked perfect together and also the girls looked amazing inside them."

"I had always said the very last thing that I wanted would be a strapless dress with images of back fat and needing to hoick the gown up every five minutes during my mind. I had previously tried on more contemporary, unstructured designs which weren't doing anything for me personally."

"I couldn't believe how tiny it made my waist look and I loved the way it made me feel. There was no big 'this is my dress' moment but I fell deeply in love with it more with time. Once I had picked it up I needed to put it in another bedroom within the house as I reached excited taking a look at it. It was great to become able to take away the bolero within the evening to alter the look from the dress."

The couple was married inside a traditional Church Of England ceremony made personal by their selection of readings and poems.

"We used the conventional Church of England vows. I don't think I would happen to be able to cope with needing to read our very own as I might have lost it and ruined my constitute! It felt natural to us to express the words we desired to say to one another during our speeches."

The couple planned their day themselves but worked to ensure that they could kick back around the day and fully enjoy every moment.

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Sit down and prioritize the most important thing to you both. For us, the items we remember from the wedding will always be the food and also the party and usually having a good time making this where we spent our effort and cash."

"Choose a photographer you like even if it means compromising on other activities. When it's throughout you are playing your memories as well as your photos and you'll be very glad that you have the gorgeous images to create out bore everybody else with for the rest of your lifetime!"

Interior Designer Claire and Ben, a Financial Controller, were married on the 3 August 2018 in the majestic, Sefton Park in Liverpool. Ben was raised in the city coupled with always loved the venue, so when he showed it to Claire, she fell in love, too.

Claire finds the ethereal 'Harlow' gown by an image of beaded lace and tulle, having a subtle nod towards the 1930s silhouette within the double straps and scalloped lace from the bodice.

"I went shopping with my mum, sister, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law. I instantly knew when I saw my mother-in-law's face."

The elegant bridesmaids wore blush pink bridesmaid dresses with lace, and I love the gorgeous bow detailing in the back. In their hair, they wore delicate fresh flowers, given by Claire and Ben's florist.

Claire and her bridesmaids carried romantic posies of roses inside a beautiful array from the softest pastel pink and ivory shades, all tied with trailing ribbons to complement the color palette. Ben and the groomsmen looked fantastic in deep blue suits, combined with light grey waistcoats and burgundy ties.

Claire and Ben first met approximately twenty years ago, in September 1998, when Ben and the family moved from Liverpool to Mold in North Wales, and he began to attend the same school as Claire. Fast forward through primary and high school as well as their blossoming friendship, after which onto university and work.

They held in touch on / off from there, however, it wasn't until Claire went home for Christmas, eighteen years once they first met and six years given that they had seen one another, that they enjoyed their initial date together.

"Ben, finally, proposed in Nunsmere Hall. We transpired the jetty. It had been a sunny day also it had converted into a beautiful summer evening. Ben had been nervous when I dropped my phone in the water. We fished it –it was fine!" Here

Meet Hannah, a midwife, and Chris, a completely independent coffee shop manager. They were married around 4 October 2018 in the wonderfully named Gloucestershire, within the beautiful Cotswolds. The couple resides in London but were keen on any rural getaway for her wedding day, especially as Hannah was raised in Gloucestershire. After viewing seven potential venues in a single day, Owlpen was the final, and Hannah and Chris were enchanted by its seclusion.

"We liked the concept of a rustic, woodland, ethereal vibe. We wanted an autumn wedding due to the amazing colors. I decorated the venue myself with greenery in the Stroud, logs for the tables were supplied by a friend, jam jars we painstakingly collected and Chris washed! I wanted to make use of greenery and wood to help keep it quite simple and understated – because the autumn colors from the grounds were already naturally sourced."

There's an attractive, bohemian Art Nouveau feel to Hannah's dress, using its pretty embellished tulle sleeves.

"I wanted a reasonably relaxed fit, nothing too tight or bling because this isn’t me. I loved the cut from the dress because it complimented my shape well, falling perfectly out of all the right places. The button detail and also the intricate overlay was dreamy making me seem like a total goddess."

Hannah finished off her dress having a blush pink ribbon sash embellished with silk flowers to match the shades of both pink bridesmaid dresses and flowers perfectly.

Chris looked great in trousers along with a shirt together by having an oatmeal-colored tweed jacket. Chris' burgundy pocket square and bow tie (in addition to his braces, and people of his groomsmen) also came thanks to James Lear of Arundel, and Chris finished off his outfit with classic boots.

"We met in 2013 in Melbourne, Australia. And it had been all because of our close friend Ruth. Chris decided, after meeting Ruth in the cafe where he worked, he would pluck in the courage to obtain her number and get her out. Unfortunately for Chris, Ruth prefers ladies! But the two became drinking pals after which Chris and I were introduced. After several tequilas, lots of Skype calls along with a few months of long-distance relationship we started our journey together within the UK when Chris flew back on Valentine's Day to be with me."

"We got engaged at Christmas 2016 – Chris was very nervous concerning the whole thing coupled with planning to place the ring inside a box within the stocking – however, things didn't visit plan and he panicked. I didn't assist the situation by looking into commenting 'I wonder the number of people will get engaged at Christmas, it's so cliche.' Poor guy! He then took me to the bottom of the garden to obtain my present and proposed there. I researched to see our families within the kitchen watching on, clapping, and cheering." Go

"My favorite part of the day was walking into the gardens towards the ceremony, seeing all of our friends and family together and Chris waiting there at the top of the steps. I think I almost saw a tear – but he denies it."

On hand to capture all this rich, autumn color and magical seasonal light was the photographer Stuart, whose lovely work we're featuring here around the blog for that very first time.

"Stuart was a complete pleasure from start to finish. Excellent communication leading up towards the wedding and ever the professional. On your day he just blended in whilst I was getting ready, and also at times you wouldn't have noticed he was there. Guests commented how relaxed and friendly he was, which suited the ethos of our day. There weren't a lot of structured photos, and we just trusted his intuition using the shots."

"Stuart even was able to give Chris and me much-needed time alone, from everyone to savor each other's company and consume our day. Having Stuart as our photographer was the dream and we couldn't recommend him enough."

"When we received the photos back they didn't disappoint, so we have some hard choices to make because there are so many wonderful, natural shots. He captured the fun and love from the day effortlessly. We couldn't be happier using the results."

"I don't think I might have changed anything. We were so lucky using the weather, too, once we had to result in the final decision around the morning from the wedding to visit inside or out. Even though it had been overcast we decided to go outside because it wasn't raining. But the ceremony was at 1:30 and through the time we walked away the sun was shining. We had clear blue skies and It helped me feel like my mum was taking care of us."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"As many many individuals will tell you, it will go that quickly. Take time to spend 5 minutes together with your partner, as honestly, we all want to talk to you or have a picture. We were lucky our photographer was great and gave us an ideal opportunity to just enjoy each other's company."

"And I would recommend obtaining a good photographer and investing inside a videographer. Especially because it goes so quickly. I've already watched ours about 20 times and I still well up when I watch it back. It's much more special for all of us, once we have something to appear over and show our son Finn within the future."

Secondary mathematics teacher Rachel wed Scott, a fireplace alarm engineer, on 29 July 2018 at Houghton, Preston, inside a countryside-inspired day full of pink summer roses, rustic detailing, and… gin!

Time to speak about Rachel’s simple, totally modern gown which I am head over heels for due to the clean lines, simplicity, and touch of sparkle. I think its halterneck design and gorgeous V-back are different, too.

"I was looking for any simple but elegant look than one that was much less glitzy. I loved the fabric and the way it had been different from all of the others. I loved the actual way it fits and exactly how it helped me feel – like I didn’t wish to take it off. It was also so comfy. It has been said this dress is made for me and was referred to as being 'just me'."

The couple first met whilst being employed as lifeguards at their local leisure center and were together eight years before Scott proposed within the Lake District.

"We soon became friends and then were built with a Christmas smooch. We officially became boyfriend and girlfriend on Valentine's Day 2009. We bought our ideal home in May 2014, where I am sure we'll stay till we're old!"

"Our house didn't feel like an effective home until Scott purchased a black Labrador puppy called Baxter in May 2015; he's given us plenty of laughs and certainly kept us on our toes. Crackers aren't the word! After realizing that Labradors need plenty of exercises we took numerous trips towards the Lake District."

"A place we now have grown to like, it had been here that whenever almost nine years together, Scott proposed in August 2017. This was this type of surprise and I was on the moon – I had thought it had been never going to happen! The wedding was booked in December 2017 and also the big day ended up being to be in July 2018; this didn't leave long to plan and organize." Here

Whilst Rachel prepared, Scott and the groomsmen dressed up in blue suits, shoes, shirts, and ties from Menswear in Preston. Scott asked his older brother to become the best man, whilst the bride-to-be's younger brother and three of his school friends were groomsmen.

Rachel was able to find blush pink bridesmaid dresses that complemented her very own halterneck gown from an online store. They wore all of them with the cutest cream court shoes, decorated with tiny flowers.

They all wore love knot earrings gifted to them by the wedding couple and their braided up-dos were adorned with fresh gypsophila.

Photographer has captured such glorious 'getting ready shots during the day, along with the beautiful ceremony and reception shots. Her style is clean and crisp – and thus colorful too.

"She was clear and organized in the start and incredibly attentive throughout the day, having a documentary style which suited our look and led to fab photographs."

The bride carried a bouquet of peonies and foliage come up with by Margaret Mason, a buddy of Scott's family. The bouquet may be the epitome of summer – but I might be biased as peonies are among my very favorite flowers.

"I searched through Pinterest often to find the perfect type of flowers. I had to complement the bridesmaids' dresses as well as the venue. I went for pink peonies for my bouquet and pale pink roses with plenty of green for that bridesmaids."

"There's just one word to explain them; amazing. Our wedding will not have been the same without them."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Don't worry an excessive amount about the small things and focus on the things that your friends and relatives are going to remember. Food was vita and thus we incorporated this into every part of our day, even including an ice-cream van because the evening guests arrived!"

HR assistant Roona married Karl, an English teacher, on 17 November 2017, and chose this countryside manor house because of its beauty and exclusivity, including metallics to accomplish the bright color pattern of purple and violet.

"The styling during the day was based on my favorite color – purple! Other things like my leather jacket, studded shoes, and little touches such as the table names were inspired by my love of music and shiny things."

Roona and Karl possess a beautiful whirlwind of a love story, meeting just more than a year before they wed.

"We meet on Tinder only one week after I registered. We matched around 22 August 2016 and started talking immediately, discovering that we've got on very well and had lots in keeping. We first met personally on 27 August when Karl found visit me in Leeds."

"I really was nervous because it had been years since I have been on an initial date but Karl put me comfortable and we became virtually inseparable thereafter, happening our first holiday 30 days later. We continued our second vacation in April 2017 where Karl proposed in Florence, surprising me with rose petals and Champagne within the amazing hotel suite he'd secretly booked."

"He explained that he'd asked my parents' permission in January 2017. We saw our venue on 5 August and booked it and started fully planning and organizing after that so we made it happen all within 3 months."

"I didn't fully realize what type of dress I wanted, that I did not desire a strapless dress…which is exactly what I wound up buying. As soon as I put my dress on I fell deeply in love with it and also the beautiful lace jacket is included. It just felt amazing." Go

Roona's selection of gowns for her bridesmaids – closest friend Sonia and sister Usha – were wonderful for setting the color scheme during the day.

"They wore mauve bridesmaid dresses. We were very pleased with this choice, in keeping with this color scheme as well as having a sequinned edge for them."

"My bridesmaids got silver, glittered, mid-stiletto heels from. I bought silver diamanté lace bracelets and amethyst drop earrings as presents on their behalf."

After an initial dance to 'Absolute Beginners' by David Bowie, the evening's entertainment came thanks to, the Woodlands' in-house DJs.

"I am an enormous fan of David Bowie so really wanted that it is a song of his. After hearing many we chose 'Absolute Beginners' because the lyrics fit perfectly with the way we feel about one another."

"Dean and Jonathan were great, allowing us to teach them as to the very first dance, playlists, and what type of music we wanted and didn't want, therefore we were very pleased with them. I barely left the dance floor all evening!"

"We were built with a photo booth – an excellent tool to help keep our guests entertained and in addition, it provided us with some brilliant funny memories too!"

"Being encompassed by everyone and feeling their love and happiness through the whole night and day was an incredible feeling. To us our day was perfect; everything went with no hitch thanks to the staff at Woodlands and our wedding coordinator Jessica making everything go smoothly behind the scenes. It's like everyone says; it does pass too quickly and before very long, the very best day ever has ended."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Do consider yourselves and what you would like. Some people might have lots of strong opinions which may be annoying but in the end, during the day they are just excited for you. Try to become patient together and don't forget it is your entire day, regardless of what."

"Most importantly, enjoy every moment to be engaged and treasure every second of the very wonderful day of your lifetime. It is a once inside a lifetime experience, and when it's over you'll wish you can relive it every single day."

Let's meet our couple, Sarah, a Chartered Accountant, and Jonathan, who's an IT Consultant, who have been married around the 24 March 2018 at an attractive boutique hotel within the charming Nottinghamshire village of Southwell.

"I first saw the gown at a wedding fair and loved how unique it had been. I wanted a mermaid-shaped dress having a low back. I also loved the diamante around the dress and the straps."

Ahh, what a truly beautiful gown, filled with sass and movement – we like it!

Gorgeous wedding party glamour came thanks to the hair stylist and make-up artist, and I love Sarah's perfect, vintage-style waves and dramatic eye make-up.

Sarah's bridesmaids looked fantastic in sage bridesmaid dresses, along with strappy, pewter-colored sandals. Sarah also gifted them personalized necklaces.

"With a neutral venue and bridesmaid's dresses we desired to use the flowers introducing color towards the day. We wanted several pastel colors, and since the venue and dresses were so simple, we felt like we're able to get away with several colors, too."

"We've known one another since going towards the same secondary school, but never spoke until New Year's Eve 2013 whenever we bumped directly into each other inside a local bar! We got engaged in November 2016 whilst on vacation in Dubai, and that we married annually and a half later." Here

Sarah and Jonathan opted for any simple, civil ceremony, and chose to not include any readings. They did, however, exchange rings together. Sarah decided on a thin, gold diamond band to complement her diamond engagement ring, and Jonathan decided on a plain gold band – both from, where Sarah's diamond engagement ring had are available.

On hand to capture many of these moments, naturally and spontaneously, Martin was a photographer, whose honest and heartfelt work we're sharing for that first time on Love My Dress today.

"We chose Martin because we loved his type of capturing action shots and that he was recommended by our venue. He was brilliant throughout the lead-up and during the day – he was discreet, simple to work with, and set us comfortable. We would recommend him to the couple's marriage!"

Excellent food would be a key consideration for Sarah and Jonathan when choosing their wedding venue, and also the chef team in the Old Vicarage didn't disappoint, cooking a truly wonderful feast for everyone to savor.

The couple's favorite part of the day came throughout the evening because they headed outdoors with loved ones for any spectacular and fun sparkler guard of honor!

"Initially this idea was mainly for that photos and videos, but within the moment it turned out to be among the most fun parts of the day. It was so nice to become surrounded by everyone we loved who have been all cheering and waving their sparklers around."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Just try to have fun with it. This is the eventually where you can incorporate all your favorite colors, styles, and food, in addition to spending the entire day with all your closest family and friends. It shouldn't be considered a stressful experience!"
