I possess a feeling you're likely to fall deeply in love with Holly and John's elegant, minimal and classy city wedding, and also the bride's alluring gown too. Marketing manager Holly wed mortgage advisor John on 25 August 2018 inside a stylish wedding in the middle of Manchester city center. After the civil ceremony, the marriage party moved up towards Hall's rooftop for a sunlit celebration.

The couple got married on the sixth anniversary, picking Manchester Hall because of its flexibility and modern approach.

"We met around seven years back on a particular date in Manchester and were engaged on New Year's Eve 2016 on the beach on Phi Phi in Thailand. We aren't an intimate couple therefore the proposal was much more of a drunken 'Shall we obtain married?!' that was perfect for me."

I'm so deeply in love with Holly's sleek and sensual gown. Its simple silhouette can be quite sophisticated whilst the subtly sparkling embellished border which plunged on the open back in the delicate cap sleeves adds a dash of understated glamour.

"I wanted classic and straightforward and this dress was both. I was never likely to pick the princess gown!"

The bridesmaids' dusty blue bridesmaid dresses echoed the tranquility and embellishment of Holly's own. Go

"Sarah is an amazing wedding photographer and captured our day so effortlessly. We wanted natural photos without any 'posey' photos. Every single one in our photos captures people having a lot of fun and that we couldn't be happier with the way they turned out."

John looked very suave in the soft blue suit worn having a contrasting light grey waistcoat and skinny tie. He finished his look having a statement buttonhole of fresh flowers, come up with by who also made the girls' wild bouquets.

The guests were treated to some sharing feast of tapas designed especially for that couple by Manchester Hall, enjoyed by Holly and John on the sweetheart table. Singer provided a live soundtrack to the marriage breakfast whilst, afterward, a DJ from was responsible for the party area.

"I enjoyed every minute of our wedding. People say your wedding reception goes quickly and it's true. It is gone inside a minute and also you want to do everything again. Looking back, I'd stress less about minor details. Most people don't notice what font was used around the place names that you spent six hours discussing!"

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Try never to fear too much about everybody else having a good time. As long as you are having fun your guests will too."

"It's 'your' wedding and something of the only days you may be completely selfish. Don't be relying on family, invite-only family and friends you want there, or else you will regret it."

It's a genuine pleasure introducing Adam who married on 9 June 2018 and continued their celebrations at nearby in Redditch, a captivating 16th-century Tudor house. The bride's assortment of vintage crockery and fascination with all things old infused the whole day, and she or he also finds the daintiest of era-inspired Eliza Jane Howell gowns to accomplish the look.

Adam and Emma were lucky enough to get to meet through mutual friends coupled with an eighteen-month engagement before their June wedding.

"Adam surprised me having a weekend away for the fifth anniversary and proposed at Thornbury Castle in Gloucestershire."

We need to talk about Emma's selection of gowns, purchased in Stourbridge. Designer Gill Harvey's gowns possess the most wonderful, vintage influence and marry modern elegance with intricate detailing.

The bridesmaids look oh-so-elegant in their navy bridesmaid dresses from the bridal collection, which they wore with shoes and matching bags. For jewelry, they'd earrings along with a bracelet.

"I always wanted to get married at the chapel where I was raised. Jill, the pastor, continues to be there my very existence and I knew I wanted her to marry me. I collect vintage cups and saucers and have a fascination with all things old therefore we created our wedding theme by using this as inspiration." Here

I love Adam's twist on groom style. He wore classic dark suit trousers having a light tweed jacket and waistcoat, all from, and handle off having a bow-tie from. His groomsmen wore matching suits and also the two little page-boys were also in trousers and waistcoats.

"Our usher Bill provided the vintage Rolls Royce, that is his father's. He drove me towards the chapel after which drove us towards the venue."

Emma and her father entered the chapel for 'The Wedding March' before pastor Gill married her and Adam. They exchanged vows in addition to rings from Birmingham. The newlyweds walked out of the chapel, looking so happy, right into a shower of confetti, before going to Gorcott Hall.

I love both movement and also the charming detail captured by the day's photographer, especially the colorful confetti shots from the newlyweds.

"Izzy was amazing. She just knew steps to make us feel at ease, she constantly snapped and also got some of probably the most amazing natural shots. She paid attention to what we requested."

Emma's talented mum baked the magnificent, semi-naked wedding cake. It looks so pretty decorated with yet more delicate summer flowers from Floral Secrets.

Later in the evening, after time spent within Hall's gorgeously green park, the evening party began with Emma and Adam's first dance to Elvis Presley's 'Can't Help Falling In Love With You'.

"No one moment was our favorite. We couldn't have requested a better day; the elements were amazing, everything visited plan, and we had an incredible day."

Four Leaf Clover at Gorcott Hall laid on the sumptuous afternoon tea. The newlyweds dined together at a sweetheart table, providing them with such a lovely view of the guests enjoying themselves.

My first knowledge about some well-known wedding designers wasn't positive: I was relayed through friends to reach with nude and strapless underwear and lightweight make-up to prevent damaging the dresses."

"When I tried the 'Elvira' dress, there is a long silence. It's then that I knew it had been the right one. This dress makes me feel powerful and elegant so when I put it on, I feel like I could fly. Before making their method to the church, Cecile and Mark enjoyed an attractive 'first look' moment together, that was captured in most its joy and delight through the couple's brilliant photographer Matteo.

Cecile and Mark first met soon after high school through mutual friends, whilst both on vacation in Brittany.

Tables were laid around the Castello's beautiful terrace, with white linens and pastel-hued floral centerpieces encompassed by rose gold and glass tealight holders.

"Each guest had two favors alongside their plates: a little bag of tea, along with a personalized Polaroid photo. As a nod to England, each table was named following a type of tea (Earl Grey, Darjeeling, etc.) and guests were given a little bag from the corresponding tea."

As the daylight started to fade within the terrace, the overhead festoon lights started to glow, and everyone enjoyed traditional Italian wedding cake, along with miniature desserts of pannacotta and tiramisu.

"We had also were built with a photobooth from throughout the party and our guests loved it! Pictures were printed around the spot, and that we received a hyperlink with all the photos in the provider around the following day. It was great fun along with a good complement towards the photographer's work."

Meet our couple, Emma, who's Head of Wholesale for women's designer ERDEM, and Ben, who's the Director of the recruitment company. The couple wed on 11 May 2019 around the island of Mallorca.

"We desired to make a weekend from it and for family and friends to be able to remain at the venue. We were searching for somewhere that allowed us to achieve that, but also desired to keep the wedding small."

When she found her lovely lace dress, there is only one option for Emma, which was a dress using its tiered ruffles and cutaway shoulder detail.

Emma added pearl drop earrings, and wore simple white sandals, in addition to a custom-made veil.

"My veil is made of silk tulle and edged with lace in the hem from the dress once they shortened it."

I'm so very happy to be sharing more work by photographers, as I had the pleasure of covering they shot in 2018, and that we shared this past year.

"Paco and Aga understood us immediately. We didn’t want anything too posed, just to capture the essence of the day, plus they did just that. They were like ninjas around the day and also the final results are beautiful. We love them and loved sharing all of them with our family and friends. They shared sneak peeks around, and were so communicative through the whole process."

The two bridesmaids looked wonderful in elegant column gowns, in sunny shades of red and yellow bridesmaid dresses, and together with Emma, carried pretty hand-tied bouquets of white sweet peas, anemones, and scabiosa, and Emma's also included subtle bursts of color in lovely lemon yellow and peachy ranunculus. Go

Ben wore an incredible bespoke linen suit, that they paired with a white shirt, green printed tie, and shoes.

"We met via a friend at a party in 2012 and moved in together after six months. Ben's proposal was low-key – late one night inside a wine bar in Paris. He hadn't brought the ring with him that night so I thought it was a tale – he'd planned to inquire about me over dinner several nights later but decided to inquire about that on a whim instead because the moment felt right. We had our wedding annually and a half later."

Guests gathered for that ceremony, taking their seats outside within the garden, encompassed by citrus and palm trees, using the grassy aisle adorned with vibrant blooms. Emma was accompanied on the aisle by her dad, who also performed the ceremony.

Laura was the couple’s wedding coordinator, as well as their day was beautifully styled by Lisa.

"We knew we desired to keep it relaxed and intimate but possess the most fun we'd ever endured. Straddling the road somewhere between pared-back and straightforward, and real Spanish fiesta. Lisa understood what we desired to do visually and that we were amazed by how everything looked around the day."

Family and friends took their seats as Emma and Ben made their joyful arrival with the archway from the Finca, to consider their place amongst them for lunch.

With the sundown, Emma and Ben cut their lovely, three-tier cake designed for them, and took it towards the dancefloor because the festoon lights shone above them.

"I spilled something on Ben's suit at dinner therefore we quickly ran to sort it out. It was one of the only moments I was completely alone during your day, also it was lovely."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"You're permitted to change your mind. I never imagined using a destination wedding after which it felt right. You can change your mind on anything at any point within the planning, so don't feel trapped by something you thought you desired and aren't so certain of as everything comes together."

"I love my dress so a lot, I feel so special when I'm putting it on – I am worried that after I use it that it wouldn't look right or I wouldn't have that feeling that individuals talk about understanding that it's the one."

His Grandma was watching over us from the picture frame around the windowsill alongside where Jake inquired about marrying him."

"We started searching for venues immediately as we both have grandparents that aren't in good health and it had been very vital that they are a part of our wedding. So we married 10 months later and our grandparents have there been to witness it – which meant the planet to us."

"We chose traditional white gold court rings – I was built with a smaller thickness to Jake as I enjoy stacking my rings daily and love having the ability to customize my wedding band finger, adding other bands to my wedding band when I'm not wearing my diamond engagement ring. I love weddings that weave together influences from different countries and heritages, and today's elegant micro-wedding is a which performs this to perfection.

Come beside me to Oxford were aspects of Danish hygge coupled with Scottish pride along with a joint adoration for choral music for any stylish and memorable celebration. On 29 August 2020 classical music agent wed a secondary school teacher inside a Church of England ceremony in the followed by a fairy-lit marquee reception. Their wedding venue was incredibly special for that couple because the chapel was where they first met as choral scholars.

The bride is attracted to a minimalist Scandi aesthetic, and each aspect of this wedding speaks to that, especially her exquisitely simple, timeless silk gown. It looks wonderful on her behalf willow, 5 foot 11 frames, and also the cowl neck and cap sleeves are summertime perfection.

"I bought my dress at feeltimes.com – an extended elegant cowl-neck dress in fine Italian ivory silk having a cinched waist along with a small train, that I added little cap sleeves and raised the reduced button-up to make it more church-appropriate."

"Of the numerous changes we'd to make within the face from the Covid regulations, I was very lucky in a single respect – we'd already bubbled along with my family throughout the first lockdown which meant my father could follow tradition and accompany me on the aisle, which I think meant a great deal to him and did in my experience." Go

The couple was married through the College Chaplain as well as their good friend Aidan, the Canon Precentor at Norwich Cathedral, who traveled right down to give our sermon.

"It was at the same time hugely insightful, witty, and moving and thus personal to us, since he'd been our parish priest for many six years earlier within our relationship and knew us as a couple so well."

The deep emerald green bridesmaid dresses, were an ideal complement to FeelTimes dress.

"My maid of honor wore her very own gold heeled sandals and that we found my sister a nearly identical pair from Boden – which she left out at home in Brighton. Cue a frantic visit to Office around the morning from the wedding!"

Each girl carried a loose and natural bouquet of white and green, minimalistic and Scandi whilst exuding romance.

Robert honored his Scottish heritage by putting on a traditional Highland dress.

"The tables were named after places in Oxford of particular significance to us – where we met, where we'd our first date, where he proposed – beautifully designed and illustrated with a family friend, who had been too elderly to travel towards the wedding personally but was there in spirit through the medium of his incredible artworks."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Make the most from the engagement bubble. You'll be married forever however your engagement is real-time to enjoy together first. Everyone may wish to celebrate along with you, so savor every minute and bask within their reflected happiness for you both."

Sending so much like to you all today. I'm so conscious of this past little while has felt so exhausting for a lot of – the endless insufficient certainty over weddings and life plans, over careers and work, it simply feels an excessive amount at times. Their beautiful 'micro wedding' captures so perfectly the discharge of joy for couples who've waited to get married but had their plans delayed due to the pandemic.

"We were because of being married in September 2021, and in October when Boris announced that weddings could be stuck at 15 people for 6 months, we felt very skeptical by what the future was appearing like and didn’t wish to keep arranging a 150+ extravagant wedding. So we postponed our booking until October 2022 and cracked up with making plans for the little wedding."

"My Dad, David, walked me down the aisle. The entrance music was played around the organ and we had ‘Arrival from the Queen of Sheba'."

"My dress was then delivered inside a matter of weeks in beautiful packaging. The quality was simply gorgeous and I loved the dress was designed for me."

"I initially thought I would wear something quite different, however when I saw my dress it had been quite simply 'me' and I felt that it had been what I would usually wear but converted into a wedding dress. It was perfect and made from the most delicious silk that felt amazing and kept me warm."

"My maid of honor, Jo, wore an outfit from that by complete accident worked perfectly using the color scheme. The blush pink bridesmaid dresses we'd picked out for that 6 seem to be rewritten could they be are holding them before the celebration in October 2022."

Rachel wore an attractive fresh flower crown, developed by her florist. Here

"We got engaged in August 2019. It was an ideal reflection people, in your own home still within our pajamas having just finished a large fry up. I lived in Sheffield at that time and Will was still in army accommodation. He was staying for that weekend and we had planned to choose a morning walk within the peak district, that is where he desired to propose. However, we stayed as much as stupid o'clock' watching Stranger Things, as I was addicted to the show at that time, which then meant we slept in."

"We had different plans within the afternoon (that have been later canceled) so Will desired to ask the question before we discontinued. We were going to pop out to obtain something when he inquired about to go make sure that he had shut your window upstairs, I said 'why can't you go' but obliged nonetheless."

"When I came downstairs Will was standing right at the bottom of the stairs holding an extended thin box*, I had no idea that which was going on and that he started saying probably the most lovely things in my experience."

"Next thing I know he's proposing and I am surprised, he seemed to be so nervous that he'd 'forgotten' to obtain down on one knee so suddenly dropped towards the floor."

"It was at this time that I started to uncontrollably cry, obviously said yes, and only then do we continue to cry for an additional hour or so before eventually deciding to consider that walk within the peaks and celebrate having a bottle of champagne."

"Will proposed with a set of beautiful citrine earrings, among my favorite stones, because he knew that I wanted among my late mum's rings a diamond ring to wear every day. The ring I wanted was with my Nan so desired to wait to inquire about her for that ring until I was engaged."

"To be truthful I think it had been more luck than good judgment our day ended up as beautiful because it did! As we threw it together at the last minute, I was both quite relaxed. It all just type of came together."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Don't worry about what other people think or exactly what the right and wrong thing is to complete since there isn't one! Just do why are you feel happy, have fun by using it, perform the crazy thing that simply popped to your head while you won't regret it!"

I'm just head over heels for today's lovely, intimate celebration, which took place in the coolest mid-century modern house and walled garden. There are beautiful autumn colors here aplenty, along with a super stylish bride rocking an extended skirt and jacket combination, too. Join me for that wedding of Rachel, who runs a web-based book subscription service, and MJ, a company account director.

"I wanted something fun to put on and easy to bop in – in the finish there wasn't a dancefloor however the outfit was extremely easy to put on and comfortable too. The skirt was a lot longer, but around the first fitting we chose to hack from the length therefore it rested above my ankle to learn effectively to move."

The couple was married around the 3rd of October 2020 in North Berwick, Scotland. This architecturally spectacular modernist home is set within 5 acres of the walled garden.

"We met at the office and were friends for a year before we started dating. Seven years next we got engaged on the slice of pizza, and 2 years later I was saying 'I do'."

MJ's super smart ensemble – tartan suit, deep blue shirt and tie, and brownish brogues were all from which Rachel says was his only non-negotiable concerning the whole day – and that they had never witnessed someone have a shopping trip more!

Rachel's Maid of Honour was her sister Christine, who wore a classic dress that they discovered in a classic bridesmaid dresses online store.

Florist Aoife wove is probably the most enchanting autumnal spell within the venue space, with glorious arrangements full of beautiful texture from pampas grass and dried leaves, and jewel-toned dahlias and roses.

"Her flowers set the scene. On the day she also used some flowers and greenery on the grounds in the house, which all of us loved – it added a special layer of meaning to her already gorgeous arrangements."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"The benefit of our small wedding maybe it was ended up being so meaningful for most of us. My advice for couples who're planning now or who are trying to determine what to complete about a rescheduled big day determines what's non-negotiable to you after which let that inform the rest of the decisions. Even though the marriage plans got turned inverted when I appreciate very day everything I just feel grateful that everything exercised as it did and that I was able to get married."
