As has been the case with the previous WoW Classic expansion launches WoTLK Gold, Wrath of the Lich King Classic is available at no additional charge with the game's monthly subscription. This gives an access right to WoW Classic servers as well as the current version of the game.

The new expansion for the latest edition of WoW, Dragonflight, is scheduled to be released before the closing of the year and will include a brand new region, class and changes to the game's talent and profession system. The main World of Warcraft : Wrath of the Lich King Classic website, for a few moments, displayed an unannounced date for the new MMORPG's fan-favorite expansion: September 26 2022.

As reported by Wowhead The date has since been removed by Blizzard from its official website. Although it may have occurred as an error, or was a placeholder date, it's quite likely that Wrath of the Lich King Classic will launch towards late September.

When you consider that WoW's latest expansion called Dragonflight and Dragonflight is scheduled to release before the year 2022's close which is why it's only natural Blizzard intends to release Wrath of the Lich King Classic in fall as opposed to the winter of this year in order to give both games some breathing room. Wrath of the Lich King Classic is currently in buy WoTLK Gold beta testing with the expansion's first raid, Naxxramas, having been recently made available for players to put through the Ringer.
