Meet Becky, a primary school teacher, and Mark, a wine merchant, who married around the 26th of May 2018 at St Peter's Church, Humshaugh, Northumberland, then a reception in Becky's parents' gorgeous garden.

"It was always my dream to obtain married there and also the day after we got engaged my father had already been around the phone to the neighbor to ascertain if we could use their field over the road for that marquee."

"My parents’ garden happens to be beautiful and it has an original walled section but my parents visited so much effort to make it even better. My dad was concerned that even just at the end of May there wouldn't be sufficient flowering so he built a polytunnel to bring around the flowers early."

On her feet Becky wore shoes, while for scent she opted for any perfume, that was a Christmas gift from Mark's parents. For jewelry, she opted for any pair of earrings that had been a present from her very own parents on her behalf sixteenth birthday.

Becky walked down the aisle on her behalf dad's arm, preceded by her four bridesmaids. Becky and Mark chose two readings- Corinthians 13, read by Becky's sister, then 'That Still and Settled Place' by Edward Monkton, read by Mark's eldest sister.

Mark waited at the end of the aisle inside a blue three-piece suit, with a complimentary pink tie from the same supplier.

"One of our highlights from the day was being in a position to drive Mark's Dad's car back in the service. It meant we'd a bit of break just a couple of us and Lucie was in a position to capture that perfectly." Go

On returning to the ceremony, Becky, Mark as well as their guests enjoyed canapes, drinks, and photos within the garden, before moving towards the marquee for that wedding breakfast.

"I hunted for months for green bridesmaid dresses also it was becoming probably the most stressful part of the wedding. I should have ordered and returned about twenty dresses when I saw a billboard on Facebook and decided to provide it a go. My bridesmaids liked them straight away plus they all looked stunning."

Captured the glorious sunshine and much more glorious happy smiles in her own bright and lightweight style and Becky and Mark also opted for any pre-wedding shoot to enhance their confidence in front of the camera- a very excellent idea in case your photographer offers it.

"Lucie was great. She blended along with all of the other guests and she or he wasn't whatsoever intrusive and she or he got plenty of natural, relaxed shots of our guests which is exactly what we should want. We are generally a bit camera shy and posing didn't come naturally so being in a position to meet Lucie before our special day meant that I was far more relaxed and that we ended up enjoying getting the photos taken."

"My dad grew flowers in pots for within the marquee but additionally made a huge wall of flowers to visit outside the marquee to line the entire length of the tent. They helped make your day for me. I am proud of him and all sorts of his effort and I am pleased it all paid off plus they all flowered."

Evening entertainment came in the form of a band while usher Ross sang the very first dance song, 'Every time we touch' by Cascada.

"Mark was inside a band with Ross for a long time during school and after university and Ross sang my favorite song they accustomed to playing. I was accustomed to requesting it at their gigs and we joked he would sing it at our wedding. I didn't think it might happen!"

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Dreaming big doesn't need to mean spending plenty of money and don't underestimate the talents of your friends and family! We did a lot of bits ourselves or we drafted our amazing friends and family to assist. I made all in our signs, table plans, place names, etc manually and Mark and the family made all of the larger creations."

Originally Primoz had desired to propose there, however, the waiter took his coat using the ring within it so he'd to change his plan just a little."

"We loved Urska & Domen as our photographers. The colors from the photos and anything else matched the marriage perfectly. Additionally, they're a very friendly and professional pair." Go

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds opted for Urska & Domen to capture the gorgeous sunlight in the marriage portraits within the grounds from the venue, before joining the marriage breakfast banquet using their guests, supplied by Luka and Ben.

Proving men of numerous talents, Luka and Ben also come up with an impressive 4-tier white buttercream wedding cake, decorated with flowers and sparklers.

"We hired to take part in the night away and chose Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran as our first dance song. We chose it since it has a dance already integrated within the video which we thought we're able to copy. However, we didn't practice enough, and also the final dance wasn't as glamorous as we'd envisioned, though we still had plenty of fun trying! I even wrote on the steps inside a last-minute make an effort to avoid a debacle. I gave it to some friend to exhibit to us throughout the dance but even that didn't provide much help!"

After a sparkler sends on end the night on the high, the pair were left using the memories and pure joys of your day.

"We enjoyed the entire day. Primoz's favorite moment was seeing me walk down the aisle in my dress, which they hadn't seen before your day, using the song Solamente Tu playing in the background. At this point, he tells me, he was thinking it is only you! Everything on your day was perfect. Even the small stuff that went wrong!"

Victoria, Deputy Secretary General from the German Council for Sustainable Development, and Thorsten, the police with the Berlin State Police Department were married on 13 January 2018, Berlin.

"We wanted a venue which was close to the house for logistical reasons as well as something quite central to Berlin once we had many guests traveling set for the wedding. It also suited our brief for any relaxed location with lots of room along with a great atmosphere.”

"A friend recommended Saskia in my experience. She specializes in documentary-style wedding shoots and helps to create very atmospheric pictures. Saskia was very warm and attentive. She was open and simple to talk to."

"On your day she blended into the celebrations seamlessly also it was a pleasure to possess her around. Shooting a winter wedding features its special challenges because of the lack of sunlight, but she managed to get an asset and captured a lot of beautiful moments for all of us. She works internationally too and I would recommend her to couples wanting a documentary style feel for their photos."

Victoria's elegant lace wedding dress is made for her by a friend and designer, having a romantic lace bodice and a graceful silk skirt.

"The look I wanted would be a deep V-Neck (right down to the waist) by having an A-line skirt. Throughout the fittings Dara caused me to produce the look, but additionally made the adjustments that my curvy shape required."

"She carefully placed the lace so that it met in front covering the bra I was likely to wear and pieced together two various kinds of lace to include a nicer edge along with a little sparkle. Nothing was an excessive amount of trouble and she or he even put in some little net gussets under the arms to make sure I could move freely without compromising around the fitted look from the sleeve." Go

The flowers were filled with frosted, winter beauty in shades of white, with waxflowers and eucalyptus, in addition to gorgeous ranunculus using the most delicate hint of blush pink. They were the job of Jil Berner, who had been recommended to the couple by make-up artist Mandy.

"We met on the blind date on January 13th, 2013. It was in the Café Chagall, a classic quirky pub in Berlin. We didn't know much about one another before the meeting and were curious for more information. I had planned to create an excuse to depart after ten minutes or so if I didn't feel any connection. As it ended up we talked all night and learned that we had both lived abroad for amounts of time and want to do so again."

"For our second date, Thorsten invited me towards the 'Komische Oper'. He booked seats for us inside a private box which we shared by having an elderly couple who've been regulars there for many years and always have those seats. It was wonderful to talk about a box having a couple who was still in love after a lot of years. I wouldn't state that it was love in the beginning sight. Our love for one another developed gradually with time."

Victoria chose Pachelbel's Canon in D as her entrance music for that ceremony. She was accompanied on the aisle, and here Victoria explains her choice and her reasons.

"There was this kind of overwhelming sense of love within the air. The ceremony was very emotional and private. It was wonderful to determine the many shining faces taking a look at us and also the contributions by our friends, particularly the songs, were so touching."

"Andrea, the maid of honor, acted as master of ceremonies and kept everything running smoothly around the day. She kept any problems out in our sight to ensure that we could enjoy ourselves."

The couple landed on the brilliant idea for favors. On each guest's seat, there have been matches and sparklers, that have been then lit and held aloft like a glittering guard of honor because they walked back on the aisle as newlyweds.

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Take time for you to consider which things about your day are vital that you concentrate your efforts on those. Our priority ended up being to provide a beautiful and relaxed atmosphere for our family and friends. So the venue, the meals, and the kids' entertainment were all key elements for all of us. Table decorations in comparison were not at the top of our list."

Jayne, an architect, and Kris, an architectural technician, escaped to Quimper, France for or her wedding on 7 April 2018. The magnificent Cathédrale Saint-Corentin, Quimper, France was the venue for his or her Catholic ceremony, having a wedding breakfast and party within the grounds from the historic, Plomelin, Brittany.

I adore the bridesmaids' exquisitely-tailored gowns. They look so different using their high neck and cut-out detailing. The girls wore all of them with navy suede block heels from and pearl drop earrings.

"I wanted navy bridesmaid dresses as I love monochrome and wanted the easy contrast using the white. We created a palette together which had become the white, black, grey, navy, and blush pink."

"I was looking for a vintage but modern style along with a big skirt to compliment the scale from the cathedral. I like wearing clothes which are simple and tailored."

"The two-piece was perfect having a simple white crepe body, long sleeves with buttons in the wrists, and back having a boat neck. The skirt is a champagne satin having a single bow tie towards the front. The train is made from the same fabric and it is cathedral length I love the color contrast between your top and skirt."

The couple met through their work and became engaged on vacation in Kris's native New Zealand.

"We both worked within the same building and met one another commuting around the train because the office is at Thames Ditton but both of us lived in west London. We share common interests for example rugby, architecture, and travel. I'm half Kiwi in order soon as I heard his accent we hit them back."

"As I was colleagues we took our time getting to know one another, meeting up secretly, therefore, we could have some privacy with no office gossip knowing! We had been together for years whenever we discussed using the next step into marriage. It would be a joint decision." Here

A white chiffon veil, also by, echoed the shape from the gown's train perfectly for any clean, dramatic finish; just take a look at how it flows behind her as she walks. Edgy black block sandals from added another modern touch. The bride wore family jewelry because of its sentimental value, and statement pearl drop earrings.

The couple had officially married in London in March, as well as their local priest worked closely together with his French counterpart to make the pair's day perfect.

"Our official 'marriage' is at Camberwell per month before. Father Corentin was our priest in France because he was local and did the ceremony in English. Our priest Father Gerry from St Thomas' in Dulwich prepared everything necessary for the Catholic church and coordinated this using the cathedral in Quimper."

I love the pair's method of making sure all their guests could relax and revel in the day – hiring childminders and making sure there have been plenty of activities on their behalf.

"We were built with a couple of childminders for your day to keep the children entertained. The kids were welcome because they had traveled a long way using their parents but we wanted both mom and dad, kids and guests, without kids to unwind."

The wedding breakfast was supplied, and also the fabulous stacked wedding gateaux decorated with sparklers were by.

After the wedding cake was cut and the pair had spent some moments enjoying the river-side sunset, the dancing began! Their first dance ended up being to Finley Quay's 'Love Get's Sweeter every day'.

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Don't sweat the little stuff as things go wrong around the day so let your entourage cushion you and also support you because it really may be the best day of your lifetime."

For Jen, the marriage, where she was raised, was of prime importance also it gave the pair free rein using their planning and styling. Cue a relaxed day whose style and feel evolved organically, with lots of fresh flowers and allusions towards the ducks and parrots which go to the millpond nearby.

His style is natural and modern, having a wonderful timeless quality and aptitude for catching light most perfectly. If you like his work then please don't hesitate to.

"He was able to grab us just the right moment for photos following a meal and also the results are beyond anything I could have imagined. I would recommend him to anyone. As we'd a many guests Richard suggested as our second photographer. He was amazing and handled the chaos from the guys preparing brilliantly and it is just an exciting round of great egg!"

Rob and Jen met at uni and were engaged 5 years later, overlooking the magical Croatian town of Dubrovnik.

"We met on the night out for any mutual friend's birthday whilst I was during my final year at uni. I remember clocking Rob in the pre-drinks and thinking he was quite cute but I didn't talk to him until later on in the night when I was out. We got talking and he offered to buy me a drink but at this point, within the night all I wanted was plain tap water."

"Five years later Rob proposed whilst I was on holiday in Croatia. On our last full day, we took each day trip to Dubrovnik but our tour guide was very enthusiastic and keen to exhibit us as numerous sights as you possibly can meaning we didn't possess a lot of time to understand more about it on our very own."

"I was busy getting a spot that wasn't too crowded to obtain some decent photos and turned around to locate Rob recorded on one knee asking me to marry him that was a total shock. I like to think I'm quite perceptive but I'm less I didn't possess a clue about anything happening. He had consulted my best friend for that choice of ring and spoken to my father beforehand. We were engaged just for under 2 yrs which gave us sufficient time to save and meant we'd first pick from the suppliers we wanted." Go

A blue shade was chosen for Jen's grown-up bridesmaids, who found their navy blue bridesmaid dresses at different stores.

"I wanted girls to pick something they believed comfortable and happy in so just gave them the color and they each chose their very own dresses from, and. The dresses all looked perfect together and also the girls looked amazing inside them."

"I had always said the very last thing that I wanted would be a strapless dress with images of back fat and needing to hoick the gown up every five minutes during my mind. I had previously tried on more contemporary, unstructured designs which weren't doing anything for me personally."

"I couldn't believe how tiny it made my waist look and I loved the way it made me feel. There was no big 'this is my dress' moment but I fell deeply in love with it more with time. Once I had picked it up I needed to put it in another bedroom within the house as I reached excited taking a look at it. It was great to become able to take away the bolero within the evening to alter the look from the dress."

The couple was married inside a traditional Church Of England ceremony made personal by their selection of readings and poems.

"We used the conventional Church of England vows. I don't think I would happen to be able to cope with needing to read our very own as I might have lost it and ruined my constitute! It felt natural to us to express the words we desired to say to one another during our speeches."

The couple planned their day themselves but worked to ensure that they could kick back around the day and fully enjoy every moment.

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Sit down and prioritize the most important thing to you both. For us, the items we remember from the wedding will always be the food and also the party and usually having a good time making this where we spent our effort and cash."

Meet Hannah, a midwife, and Chris, a completely independent coffee shop manager. They were married around 4 October 2018 in the wonderfully named Gloucestershire, within the beautiful Cotswolds. The couple resides in London but were keen on any rural getaway for her wedding day, especially as Hannah was raised in Gloucestershire. After viewing seven potential venues in a single day, Owlpen was the final, and Hannah and Chris were enchanted by its seclusion.

"We liked the concept of a rustic, woodland, ethereal vibe. We wanted an autumn wedding due to the amazing colors. I decorated the venue myself with greenery in the Stroud, logs for the tables were supplied by a friend, jam jars we painstakingly collected and Chris washed! I wanted to make use of greenery and wood to help keep it quite simple and understated – because the autumn colors from the grounds were already naturally sourced."

There's an attractive, bohemian Art Nouveau feel to Hannah's dress, using its pretty embellished tulle sleeves.

"I wanted a reasonably relaxed fit, nothing too tight or bling because this isn’t me. I loved the cut from the dress because it complimented my shape well, falling perfectly out of all the right places. The button detail and also the intricate overlay was dreamy making me seem like a total goddess."

Hannah finished off her dress having a blush pink ribbon sash embellished with silk flowers to match the shades of both pink bridesmaid dresses and flowers perfectly.

Chris looked great in trousers along with a shirt together by having an oatmeal-colored tweed jacket. Chris' burgundy pocket square and bow tie (in addition to his braces, and people of his groomsmen) also came thanks to James Lear of Arundel, and Chris finished off his outfit with classic boots.

"We met in 2013 in Melbourne, Australia. And it had been all because of our close friend Ruth. Chris decided, after meeting Ruth in the cafe where he worked, he would pluck in the courage to obtain her number and get her out. Unfortunately for Chris, Ruth prefers ladies! But the two became drinking pals after which Chris and I were introduced. After several tequilas, lots of Skype calls along with a few months of long-distance relationship we started our journey together within the UK when Chris flew back on Valentine's Day to be with me."

"We got engaged at Christmas 2016 – Chris was very nervous concerning the whole thing coupled with planning to place the ring inside a box within the stocking – however, things didn't visit plan and he panicked. I didn't assist the situation by looking into commenting 'I wonder the number of people will get engaged at Christmas, it's so cliche.' Poor guy! He then took me to the bottom of the garden to obtain my present and proposed there. I researched to see our families within the kitchen watching on, clapping, and cheering." Go

"My favorite part of the day was walking into the gardens towards the ceremony, seeing all of our friends and family together and Chris waiting there at the top of the steps. I think I almost saw a tear – but he denies it."

On hand to capture all this rich, autumn color and magical seasonal light was the photographer Stuart, whose lovely work we're featuring here around the blog for that very first time.

"Stuart was a complete pleasure from start to finish. Excellent communication leading up towards the wedding and ever the professional. On your day he just blended in whilst I was getting ready, and also at times you wouldn't have noticed he was there. Guests commented how relaxed and friendly he was, which suited the ethos of our day. There weren't a lot of structured photos, and we just trusted his intuition using the shots."

"Stuart even was able to give Chris and me much-needed time alone, from everyone to savor each other's company and consume our day. Having Stuart as our photographer was the dream and we couldn't recommend him enough."

"When we received the photos back they didn't disappoint, so we have some hard choices to make because there are so many wonderful, natural shots. He captured the fun and love from the day effortlessly. We couldn't be happier using the results."

"I don't think I might have changed anything. We were so lucky using the weather, too, once we had to result in the final decision around the morning from the wedding to visit inside or out. Even though it had been overcast we decided to go outside because it wasn't raining. But the ceremony was at 1:30 and through the time we walked away the sun was shining. We had clear blue skies and It helped me feel like my mum was taking care of us."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"As many many individuals will tell you, it will go that quickly. Take time to spend 5 minutes together with your partner, as honestly, we all want to talk to you or have a picture. We were lucky our photographer was great and gave us an ideal opportunity to just enjoy each other's company."

"And I would recommend obtaining a good photographer and investing inside a videographer. Especially because it goes so quickly. I've already watched ours about 20 times and I still well up when I watch it back. It's much more special for all of us, once we have something to appear over and show our son Finn within the future."

"Our simple vision ended up being to marry close to the water on the sultry summer's night under twinkle lights with seafood and beer! We simply wanted it to seem like a great summer party!"

"Whilst becoming an adult, both Reid and I worked summer jobs around the water, I like a lifeguard and Reid like a water taxi captain, however, we didn't meet until soon after finishing university. We were created by mutual friends in the island's local dive bar, danced towards the Grateful Dead cover band, and not looked back!"

"We dated for 10 years, partially long-distance, whilst I was in the school of medicine, before getting engaged whilst on the hiking trip with friends in Norway. Reid had planned to propose at the end of the 17-mile long uphill snow-shoeing trek to some beautiful fjord vista, which sounded great."

"In retrospect, it had been hilarious and perfect, and also the memory from the exhausting hike improves as time passes! We were engaged approximately a year before the wedding."

The bride accessorized her dress having a simple cathedral-length veil with lace trim and Hortense clean, along with a pair of blue strappy shoes.

Hanna's simply beautiful short sleeve dress easily fit in perfectly using the natural surrounding beauty.

"Each of my bridesmaids chose their very own dress inside a shade of green, allowing all of their personalities to become represented in color and elegance."

"We loved that aesthetic variety to have an outdoor summer wedding, flowing with sage, mint, and emerald shades. I also gifted all of them a simple set of opal stud earrings."

"For the ceremony, Reid and I married at Our Lady from the Isle Church inside a Catholic ceremony conducted through the parish priest. My father walked me on the aisle to Morning Has Broken. We're both uncomfortable being the center of attention therefore it was reassuring to possess each other there to understand as support."

Following the ceremony, guests were transported in the church towards the reception inside a trolley, hired. As their guests were remaining in homes and bed & breakfasts scattered all around the island, the trollies were also accustomed to hitching rides home at the end of the night.

"My favorite part in our wedding only agreed to be being encompassed by our family and friends the entire weekend. We constantly felt bathed in love and support from so many areas of our life all coming together within the same place – how amazing is the fact that!"

Words Of Wedded Wisdom

"Remember the purpose of the day would be to celebrate the love of two people and also the joining together of the families and friends. There can be lots of well-meaning pressure from people you like, to complete or not do some things. Discuss with your lover what is important for you both and stay with those decisions."
