Vinctor's blog

This relaxed farmhouse wedding joined together in just four months. "Tom and I lived several roads aside from each other but we weirdly never knew one another," says Vicki. "We only really started speaking as we bumped into one another at a bar and recognized each other. Seven years later… here I am!"

A SUNSET PROPOSAL

Tom proposed in July 2018 in Santorini. "It's an enchanting place," says Vicki. "He made a memory book and gave it in my experience in our private flat. When I reached the final page, he got recorded on one knee there was the important question! He then offered me a dress that he'd bought before the holiday and said he'd booked a cafe or restaurant to watch the stunning Santorini sunset. Amazing!"

WEDDING DRESSES FEELTIMES

Vicki bought her dress at FeelTimes online store. "I only took my mother beside me and we had the very best experience," she says. "The staff were so friendly and helpful. I said yes to Archer bohemian wedding dress, the 3rd dress I tried on."

A CHANGE OF DATE AND COUNTRY…

"To cut an extended story short, because of COVID, our eventual big day was actually on our third date and within our second country," says Vicki. "Originally we were because of getting married in Ireland in August 2020 but we'd to keep postponing. Eventually, we chose to change this to possess a small intimate wedding in Devon and arranged another wedding in four months!" Go

GLAMPING AND A ‘HOBBIT’ HOUSE

"As it had been a very stressful journey, we wanted a relaxed venue where we're able to add our very own touches. We chose Higher Holcombe, an adorable barn in Honiton, Devon, that included a farmhouse and glamping accommodation. The best part was that the wedding couple also get in which to stay a 'hobbit house' for that night of the marriage! We finally got married on 20th May 2021."

THE BIG DAY

"I loved the morning of our wedding," says Vicki. "I awoke in the farmhouse with my mother and bridesmaids after which spent the morning getting pampered. My father then joined us, before all of us traveled towards the church inside a vintage VW camper van."

After the ceremony, everyone headed back towards the venue for photos, canapés, and bubbly. "Our main meal would be a BBQ inside because the weather wasn't nice and it rained a great deal!" says Vicki. "The speeches were short and sweet, then we'd our first dance."

"As I was unable to get married in Ireland, we chose green, white, and gold decor and flowers to celebrate my Irish heritage," says Vicki.

"Our favors included a scratch card for that man and wildflower seeds for that woman. Tom and I chose to have stacks of cheese as our cake, once we love cheese. It was amazing!"

"We didn't possess a band, because of restrictions, therefore we asked our guests to transmit songs and made a playlist to match everyone's taste in music. Then we danced the nighttime away while enjoying pizza from the pizza van, which transpired a treat!"

MY TOP TIPS…

"Enjoy every moment, because the day goes incredibly fast!"

VICKI’S DREAM TEAM

"As we simply had four months to plan another wedding, I had to do a great deal of Instagram searching," says Vicki. "Our suppliers were amazing and incredibly patient around."

For your Christmas wedding bridesmiad gowns, long dresses appear to evoke the Christmas mood a lot better than a shorter dress. You could spend very little time adding sparkling wedding gown accessories and long wraps towards the dresses from the bridesmaid.

The colors of the unique bridesmiad gowns should match with the wedding theme and also the Christmas/winter season. You can choose festive red, silver, gold, forest green, midnight blue, or ice blue as examples.

When purchasing your Christmas bridesmiad gowns, it is best that the dress might be worn on lots of occasions. They will be grateful for you each time they put them on.

Our get-togethers are going to be fewer and farther between this holiday, so take those possibilities to dress up and extremely go all-out! These smaller, less frequent gatherings should feel even more special and celebratory, not less so, and absolutely nothing says 'celebrate!' Just like a holiday gown. Let's take a glance at my top full-figured picks to sleigh this holiday...

First up is Beaded V-Neck Gown that I styled and shot for my very own blog. feeltimes includes several gown offerings within this rich Dusty Emerald. What a stunning option for the holidays! My favorite options that come with this gown would be the elegant open neckline, the way the beading and satin waistband accentuate the waist, and also the figure-hugging silhouette.

If bright green is my top color pick for the holiday, then mulled wine is available in a tight second. This Art Deco Blouson Beaded Gown offers Gatsby glamour inside a festive holiday hue. The blouson silhouette provides a relaxed fit with the top, highlights the waist, after which hugs with the hips before flowing right into a full-length skirt. This one is perfect for topping having a faux fur stole, no?!

Snow Queen, but allow it to be fashion! This Flutter One Shoulder Jumpsuit provides the elegance of the occasion gown inside a more contemporary silhouette. Jumpsuits are effortlessly chic, but that one is truly occasion-worthy because of the snowy white colorway and dramatic one-shoulder design. I also appreciate the sweep of material that falls away in the body inside a dramatic flourish. Finish the look by having a long statement earring along with a platform peep-toe shoe.

Glitter in gold this holiday! Metallics are a popular option for the holidays simply because they can transform an easy, classic silhouette right into a real show-stopper. This Scoopback Sequin Gown provides a sparkling smattering of gold and champagne sequins. Celebrate your curves within this shapely sheath silhouette. Wear hair up having a simple diamond stud earring, and allow the low reduce speak for itself.

Forget silver bells. With this dress, it is all about silver stars! There's something magical about the way the tiny sequin stars twinkle across the Beaded Flutter prom dresses with sleeves. I love enhanced comfort and easy a blouson top, and also the sheer elbow-length sleeves offer coverage while still feeling ethereal. I'd finish that one with tiny star earrings along with a celestial statement barrette.

As you intend your holiday looks, don't forget to look at FeelTimes's new arrivals and party dresses for additional festive outfit ideas. Hope it's sparkly, merry, and bright!

What are great colors for any wedding? The best wedding color mix could be chosen quickly, but it's an important part of the wedding planning process you don't wish to mess up. A color palette for spring that's carefully selected constitutes a massive impact on the marriage look.

Seasonal colors will also be observed when planning the marriage. The bright colors from the summer wedding differ much more than the gentle tones from the spring. Once you choose your colors, you fill in all other decoration products and wedding ideas, from flowers, details to wedding invites, bridesmiad gowns, table linens, and much more.

Think like it's spring!

Just much like your style, you'll motivate the wedding color plan using the time of year, you say, "I do." Think about the tone and shade you wish to use to give the wedding a seasonal feel.

Rose pink and peach are picture-ideal for wedding colors in spring, while a brighter coral is a favorite in summer. Just do not steer clear and enjoy mixing colors — look for the very best colors for the big day within the spring.

Choose the bottom color

When you are picking out a color scheme from spring wedding colors, always remember that the bottom color plays an important role within the combination. The base color may be the one most often used during the marriage, and without them, you can't come up with your whole color theme.

Based on the general atmosphere, the bottom color will differ, from light pink or mauve to sleek navy blues, punchy orange, or sage green bridesmaid dresses throughout the spring season. You really will like the bright base spring wedding colors! Once you have decided your base color, the following move would be to select a few additional colors, mainly 2 or 3 options of these.

Enjoy the gradient combination during the selection

To create a stylish choice, you don't require a variety of different colors. For starters, a marriage with 3 or 4 shades of peach (regarded as the signature spring wedding color) will appear as good as one having a painted rainbow.

This option is also ideal for creating your spring wedding colors scheme having a more sweet and honest look. Or you may mix just one color with white because white is a timeless color for that spring wedding. Or you may mix different shades of purple or orange with gold, which is a great option overall.

Choose appealing colors

Choose a color for the wedding dress based on the spring season and then suggest the contrasting color palette and theme for the marriage. It is okay to chop off from their email list of possible spring wedding colors if pale yellow or dark copper isn't on your side. You will wish to find a chuckle detail about your look, including the wedding bouquet and jewelry, even though you wear a white feel times dress.

Mix the universally attractive white with deep shades like powder blue, marine, and red, which are some of the very best options — or consider adding at least one of these to the mix to ensure that every color reaches its strongest.

Remember the wedding style

The choice of spring wedding colors, even labeling the spring wedding style or theme, is an important step. The color theme you choose for the spring wedding must suit the marriage style, time, venue, the ones around.

Unlike seasons, specific wedding colors are ideal for certain trends— an elegant 1920s, for example, doesn't allow a girly or boyish-inspired theme to use light blue and fuchsia while shiny gold and dusky silver appear unrealistic in a maritime evening.

The Most Popular Spring Wedding Colors

Spring is without a doubt the most romantic season of the year because it may be the time when nature wakes up from cold winter and involves life broadly and vibrantly.

Bright Purple and Pink Combo

Were you considering a pink wedding? Go for an incredibly feminine, floral palette of pastel pink and lightweight violet. It may be the perfect color combination! Keep the bride covered with blush pink-colored frock to look cute and shy – the perfect dressing for light pink and bright violet bouquets.

Please get rid of the feeling that's a tad too candy-sweet by continuing to keep it to some pure white backdrop instead of mixing in color bursts of bright pink, like gorgeous peonies and poppies.

Pale blue, royal blue, and ivory blend

For excellent spring wedding party decor, place simple white dishes covered with delicate dusty blue and white transfer-ware china around the tables decor.

Use traditional white rose arrangements sprinkled with dark blue hydrangeas and iced blue delphinium for any subtle color lift.

Lavender and mint green union

Add as numerous rustic details as you possibly can, for example, the hanging overflowing birdcages with colorful blooms, decorative tinted glass bottles, and mint-colored dish-ware along with wooden tables.

A decadent nude cake in fresh blossoms provides the special day with an attractive finishing using the lavender and mint green combination. Let the color combination shine in the bridesmiad gowns and wedding invites.

A decent bright purple-colored cake will deliver a sweet end to your momentous day.

Vintage yellow, lilac, and blue

Although this mixture may be a bit more complicated compared to traditional ones for that season, it's oh-so-romantic, ideal for spring, comes with an age meaning that's ideal for that new wedding using its quiet tones and antique golden white.

Earthy and natural hues for spring wedding colors will always be a top choice. There is no frustration inside a combination of red, orange, white, and olive green for any spring soiree.

Lavender added too brings some femininity towards the fragrance of lilacs along with other vibrant spring blooms and awakens the senses. A neutral wedding color palette's timeless feel and look will never walk out of style and accompany any form of spring wedding!

Whether it's a ballroom, house, beach, or garden, this selection of fetching colors goes quite a distance. And showcasing a color scheme having a fresh undertake a pastel palette is just appropriate if you pick the right colors. Follow the tips to make your day stylish and memorable.

Use flowers that adapt themselves to some free and loose style to invoke the bohemian feel. The ideal place to begin is from the cascade bouquets or centerpieces with spring wedding colors.

Natalie and John's wedding will require your breath away...

Q. How have you met your Fiance?

A. John and I met at the office, but we didn't speak for the first five months. I'm told that each time he'd look at me my head would use the opposite direction. A few months in the future I started inside a new role and began having to communicate with him regularly. Shortly after, I started speaking with my mom about "the guy at the office who is excellent and I'm confident interested in me" but said I would never day him because "it is simply not smart to date co-workers, mom." A month later he inquired about our first date. Ten months next we were engaged. There may happen to be some happy hour flirting added to the mix. Sometimes it is good to break your rules.

Q. How have you chosen the place for your wedding? What type of venue had you been looking for?

A. John is from Pennsylvania, I am from Missouri, and we live in New York. I always assumed that I might have a hometown wedding, but as I pictured our wedding in Missouri it felt like "my" wedding, not "ours." I was raised going to Palm Springs often with my loved ones. My parents live half the entire year out there now. John had also spent a while in the desert before we met, only then do we share our first New Year there before getting engaged. Palm Springs feels as though a home in my experience, but it's very much "us." We knew we desired to have our ceremony inside a church and also have the reception in a resort where our guests would enjoy staying. Our family and friends were coming from all within the country, therefore it was vital that you that people make their weekend as fun and convenient as you possibly can. La Quinta Resort and Club is a picture book beautiful along with a vacation within itself.

Q. What made you choose to do varied styles, colors, etc. for the feel times bridesmaid's dresses?

A. I wanted the girls to become comfortable and also have a say with what they wore. Since it's impossible to locate one dress that eleven girls feel great in, I thought it might be fun to possess all the dresses differently. My Maid of Honor Annie, Jamie, and I had the task of determining combinations of dresses and colors to ensure that no two girls were wearing that as well. It was an enjoyable experience! Of course, I owe all of the diagramming and math to the two of them!

Q. Who designed your wedding dress? Where have you got it?

A. Too many options seemed overwhelming and I loved the tranquility of and silhouette of my dress. And I doubt John was shocked that I chose lace…My only rule moving in was no princess wedding dresses.

Q. What was your preferred part during the day?

A. I certainly can't choose a favorite area of the day. Getting ready within the morning with all of my girlfriends, my mom, and my mother-in-law was of course an enjoyable experience. I remember standing on the bus with all of my bridesmaids heading towards the church and feeling so happy and calm. I was wearing a married dress, my close friends were with me at night and I was going to marry the person I knew is made for me. It was a surreal moment. Walking on the isle with my father, encompassed by all of my loved ones and friends, taking a look at John in the tuxedo going to make me his wife is a feeling which will never be beat. The ceremony was beautiful, and I was giddy as might be. But in addition to all of the love and all of the gush, we'd one heck of the party! If the wedding sets the tone for the marriage, ours is due to become fun, fairly traditional along with a perhaps a bit rowdy.

Q. What inspired you whenever you were planning your special day?

A. I wanted the weekend to become classic and stylish, but many of all I desired to plan a marriage that was fun and that we would love to attend if I was a guest. Planning a marriage from the alternative coast could be a bit of the trick, but between my mother, our floral and design team, and wedding coordinator I was in good hands and in a position to enjoy the process. With the Southern California weather, gorgeous venue, and killer band, there is no worrying that's wasn't likely to be an excellent weekend for everybody.

Q. What advice have you got for other brides?

A. Relax and revel in it. The engagement and wedding fly by, and it is an experience you simply get to possess once. There is a good chance that of all of the million stuff you plan, something goes wrong, but whenever you are marrying the person you can't live without and are encompassed by the people you like the most, you aren't likely to notice when the napkins would be the wrong shade or even the band plays a song you didn't request. And your guests won't either. Make an effort to consume every moment during the day. The cliché stands true. Your wedding day goes by within the blink of an eye. And the best part… If you've tried it right, your lifetime following the I Do's only gets better.

Has it been your dream to an outdoor wedding? In the best climate and at the best venue, a backyard wedding makes for an aesthetic, memorable event! From choosing the best attire and footwear to creating a backup plan just in case it rains, here's our full help guide to outdoor weddings to create your wedding day set off without a hitch!

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT OUTDOOR WEDDING VENUE

Maybe the idea is to possess a rustic country wedding inside a barn or perhaps a boho-chic event inside a flower garden, a garden, or perhaps the woods. Or maybe you're prepared to pack a bag and escape to some tropical destination or get married in the desert.

However you envision your wedding reception, you can be certain there is a perfect outdoor place for it.

CONSIDER THE TIME OF DAY

Keep in your mind that some venues only work at certain times of the day. For instance, a woodsy outdoor setting might look stunning throughout the day but lose its appeal during the night. Your favorite beach may be ideal for marriage at sunset but too hot for comfort within the middle of your day.

CONSIDER THE LOGISTICS

Choosing your dresses, selecting your caterer, and tasting the wedding cake are some of the most fun areas of wedding planning. And when you're planning a backyard wedding, the logistics are simply as important!

It can be difficult to dance on sand, grass, along other natural surfaces. So, if you're using a rustic wedding within the woods or perhaps a casual backyard wedding on grass, it's smart to install a party area. Here

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

No matter where you're married or what season it is, it's always best to possess a plan B. If your venue comes with an indoor space, secure it as being your rainy day backup plan. If there's no indoor option, rent a tent, just just in case. But even when it's a wonderfully sunny day, an overhead tent continues to be a good idea, as it's the easiest method to provide shade and shelter in the sun!

WHAT TO WEAR TO AN OUTDOOR WEDDING

Black tuxedos and stylish satin gowns will always be chic, but when you're using a summer farm wedding or marriage outside within the heat, your wedding party will be much much more comfortable in lightweight dresses and light-colored suits.

Dress the wedding party based on the climate. Brighter pastel shades are ideal for spring and summer celebrations. Casual lace wedding dresses and semi-formal suits are well suited for a countryside setting, a boho barn wedding, or perhaps a wedding within the woods.

HOW SHOULD I DECORATE FOR AN OUTDOOR WEDDING?

With a backyard event, you can usually get away with using a bit less wedding décor. And that's just because a natural landscape helps make the perfect backdrop! Whether you're opting for full-on elegance or perhaps a whimsical vibe, select elements that coordinate and complement the nearby landscape.

WHAT FOOD SHOULD I SERVE?

Just make sure to choose a caterer that has experience in hosting al fresco dining events. There are lots of logistics to think about when serving food outdoors, but a caterer with lots of outdoor experience knows how to handle all the details.

BE SURE TO LET YOUR GUESTS KNOW YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED OUTSIDE

Let them know in advance so that they can prepare, wear the best type of footwear, and dress based on the weather. Having the best footwear in your tootsies can make or break the whole experience. Recommend shoe options, for example, flats or wedges, if you're getting your wedding around the grass or the beach.

This applies to the bride and bridesmaids, too! Instead of those strappy stilettos, you like, you'll probably be much more comfortable saying your nuptials in sturdier heels, flats, or no shoes whatsoever.

CONCLUSION

Ready to achieve the best outdoor wedding ever? You're likely to! As long as you get ready for inclement weather and unforeseen circumstances, your outdoor wedding will be considered a raving success.

Couture houses and bridal shops happen to be hard at work finding new methods to safely create and showcase their latest designs, and that we think these wedding dresses will give you plenty to become excited about for the big day. If you're planning to obtain married sometime in 2022, you're ready to start searching for your wedding gown!

Corset Wedding Dresses

Sultry bustier tops and corset bodices with exposed boning take the prescription track to become two of the biggest feeltimes wedding gown trend of 2022. While the concept of wearing a corset may appear outdated by a few centuries, corsets are pretty common when it comes to wedding gowns, specifically for ball gowns or designs with heavy appliqués and beading. Expect to find details like brassier-inspired bodices, lace-up sides, vertical seaming, and sheer corset panels on many a wedding gown in 2022.

Wedding Dresses with Cut-Outs

This wedding fashion trend is completely from the world of ready-to-wear clothing. From side cut-outs to keyhole necklines, super-high slits, and open-back gowns, cut-outs make their way into bridal designs, with nearly every new collection this year offering a minimum of one way to show a little bit of skin. The good news is that because cut-outs are this type of big wedding gown trend for 2022, you will have plenty of options.

Oversized Floral Accents

Colorful designs, specifically floral prints, and larger-than-life flower embellishments are turning out to become a top wedding gown trend for 2022. Whether you're married in a garden or just in search of something apart from a white dress, these botanical-inspired styles are just like a breath of the outdoors. This wedding gown trend is about adding color and drama to your bridal gown.

Bold Sleeves

Ever since Kate Middleton debuted her iconic long-sleeve wedding gown a decade ago, sleeves make a huge comeback within the bridal fashion space. Now they’ll still trend into 2022, but instead of tight lace sleeves, billowing and voluminous styles will be a couple of the biggest bridal trends of the season. Prepare to determine a lot of oversized, '80s-inspired moments, like puff sleeves and angular shoulders. If you're unsure about diving headfirst into this bold trend, bishop sleeves are a far more understated choice to try instead. Depending on the remaining gown, bishop sleeves can provide a boho or classic vibe.

Square Necklines

The square wedding gown neckline is going to become everywhere for wedding gowns in 2022. The great thing about it's that it’s flattering for both small and big busts, providing you with support or coverage on the wedding day whilst creating the illusion of (tasteful) cleavage by exposing much more of your décolletage. While they give a regal element to sequin and embroidered bridal dresses, square necklines look incredibly chic on minimalist gowns produced from crepe or any other unembellished fabrics.

Ruffled Wedding Dresses

If you have been waiting to reside out your fairytale wedding fantasy, think about this as a sign to choose it. Dramatic, romantic ruffles are back inside a big way for wedding gown trends in 2022, giving you lots of options with regards to finding a look that's worth any princess' wardrobe. Choose a tulle ruffle ball gown if you prefer a classic Cinderella-inspired wedding gown, or choose a style with organza or chiffon ruffles that take prescription the lightweight side to embody an ethereal, sent-from-the-heavens vibe.
